Why do I have to lead my target from 5 feet away?
Apex is literally the ONLY game I can't seem to hit jack all in. I think I've figured out why.
Enemies running horizontal to you within 10 feet will not be hit by bullets if you aim directly at them. You have to lead the target if they are moving perpendicular to you. This is stupid and asinine.
Either bullets in this game are traveling at a fraction of real ammunitions or the lag is so bad that the player model lags behind where the game actually thinks they are.
A slower bullet like a 9mm traveling at 1200 ft per second would NOT MISS a moving target moving 5mph sideways if shot directly on.
So why do I have to lead my target with normal guns in this stupid game as if I were clay shooting?
This causes issues where my aim now automatically ALWAYS overcompensates because the garbage game's feedback is telling me aiming at people does not work. Obv this isn't true if they aren't moving sideways.
At 50 feet, ok sure, I can kind of see why you might want to lead a little, 300 ft, yep lead away, but 10 FEET?
The more I think about what's wrong, the more I experiment on my own aim, and the more I practice, the more I get the sense that this game is a really good idea on paper that was lazily and poorly executed.
Respawn, how many people on these forums have to say <> before you freakin FIX SOMETING?
