@undertracI don’t think Battlepasses themselves will ever return, at least not Battlepasses pre Season 11 but what I think should happen is that players should at least be able to finish battlepasses they have already purchased in previous seasons but never finished or you could purchase a battlepass for a season that you actually participated in but never officially purchased it like I made it to like level 87 or 97 in the Season 1 Battlepass but never actually purchased it, even if I can’t get the reactive havoc skin I would be fine purchasing the 87 or 97 levels I already did but then again idk if I remember correctly the Season 1 Battlepass wasn’t that great
In a way I was in the same situation you were in, Season 1 was my first Season playing the game and not only was I not completely sure if I was going to continue playing in the long term but before the Season 2 Iron Crown Solos Mode I was absolutely trash at the game I never got more than 1-3 kills but after doing Solos I actually started getting 5-10 kill games and reaching 1k+ damage which felt great at the time and motivated me to purchase the Season 2 Battlepass but for Season 1 I just never finished the battlepass :/ (I think I did finish the free version though because I have the desert Octane Skin) even though I played a decent amount I was so bad lol I just remember maining Pathfinder
