​EA mods, Is It Okay To Change The Video Config Files?​

@Popa2caps There are a few things that are not allowed: turning r_lod_switch_scale to 0 will get you an error automatically, it's prohibited as it can cause some models to disappear allowing de facto wall hack. Otherwise, some configs won't work anyway and will turn back to ther initial state (like some distance ratios, and csm_coverage), but the rest is relatively ok.
Actually, I think that r_lod_switch_scale don't work anymore if you input a value below what is allowed by the game. I also tried to input some variables I had seen in autoexec before to gain some fpss but it doesn't work anymore either.
So it's pretty safe to assume that what you get working is allowed, because they "sanitized" all the rest?

@Popa2caps I agree, it's extremely frustrating when they do not say what settings are allowed. Let people know by some form of documentation. Stop allowing those that do not care about their accounts get an advantage.

Same with the no recoil most people I witness use. Either say it's allowed or say it's an exploit and bannable so that the playing field is level.
