I just want to let you know that the changes don't actually change much. With a helmet and white armor it'd still take two shots to kill you before and after the changes. With a purple helmet and white armor, it'd still take two shots. With purple everything, it'd still take two shots.
The only instance where the changes actually benefit, is if you have white armor and no helmet. The damage drops from 165 to 143 which means now we're going to survive the initial round, and still get downed by the second. If they're aiming center mass (which with a shotgun you pretty much always are) it's still going to take two shots to kill. With all armors and helmets.

the re-chamber time increased the time to kill someone from 1.03 seconds with any armor (no head shots) to 1.12 seconds. I don't know about you, but I can't tell the difference between 1.03 and 1.12 seconds.
The patch notes were a lie anyway too. 10 times 1.50 is 165 damage. 10 times 1.25 is 137.5 damage which is 138 damage.
My point? The real damage is 143 and not 138. The real multiplier nerf is 1.30 and not 1.25. LIED to everyone.
Yeah this nerf was very disappointing. It should be reverted to season 2 peacekeeper imo. You know, back when it had some downside to running it.
So let me get this right, instead of reverting the pellet size they do this? I´m at lost for words. PK was my favorite weapon in this game, now its another weapon I hate - good one.
Yeah, so this nerf won't do anything at all, because the time in between your pumps is the it takes to strafe left and right to peek through the doorway and pump someone.
People don't play PK by facetanking oncoming fire while shooting, in that case the R9 is a lot better. And the headshot multiplier is also kind of weird since you aim for the torso.
I love the PK. It's a risk reward weapon. Just because one has a PK doesn't mean the fight is always won. There are many other weapons that can challenge it.
Shotguns are suppose to be deadly. And this is a futuristic one at that.
Season 2 it was a risk reward weapon. Season 3 it’s probably the best gun in the game with little downside. I’m not sure what you’re seeing in your lobbies but mine looks a lot like Gears of War with all the PK abuse.
With the recent buff to the peacekeeper, I don't think this is enough to shift it back into the "balanced" category.
The peacekeeper outclasses some with weapons with the choke hop-up landing reliable damage in a range no shotgun should be effective in.
So maybe a nerf to the choke hop-up could balance it a bit more.
I love to use it but currently, it is overkill
Nerf this. Nerf that. Nerf em all. It doesn't matter what guns shine. There will be people that call for them to be dumbed down.
Everyone wants all the guns to play the same. Why have damage variances at all?
Let's just make them all do the same damage. Shoot at all the same ranges. Heck, let's just take them all out and replace it with one gun. So everything will be "fair".
Even then people will cry of an imbalance.
