Re: What to do if your Apex Legends account got banned or suspended

Hello,

I know I could be deemed as a spammer at this point. I want to clearly state that I deny using any cheats, scripts, macros, or hardware designed to provide an unfair advantage. I have only ever played Apex as a casual player.

My account received a permanent ban with the reason listed as “Competitive Advantage / Gameplay Enhancement.” Unfortunately this classification is very broad, and because no further details are provided it makes it extremely difficult to understand what might have triggered the detection.

Because of this, the lack of transparency has been frustrating. If I knew what specific software, behaviour, or system interaction triggered the ban, I would at least be able to understand the situation or explain the context. However, without that information it is impossible to meaningfully dispute the decision. In my appeals I attempted to provide as much context as possible regarding my system and software, including tools such as Throttlestop, my mouse software, and my network configuration. None of these are intended to interact with Apex or provide any gameplay advantage.

At this point I understand that the appeals process may be complete. My intention with this post is simply to document the situation and express that greater transparency in ban explanations would help legitimate players better understand what occurred.

Thank you everybody for reading. I am leaving this here in case the ban wave is investigated later and I may have a chance to get my account back.

    SadPotatoX​ If anything, it would most likely end up merged with the thread you had referenced above, although I'm not sure, (for this one, I don't plan on merging it anywhere).

    Wrong bans seem to be becoming more and more frequent, and now the second player in the Hunter has also been banned. However, he is a professional player of VK GAMING, and he can directly contact the team to appeal and check his account. But it seems that our ordinary players' appeals are always blocked by robots. My appeal will be rejected immediately after entering the transition state. I think the TOS team has not seriously reviewed it. As an ordinary person, can I only give up the account that I have worked hard to build?

    Same, someone from Hong Kong, China got into my account and cheated on it. I have 6 heirlooms and 1 universal. I WOULD NEVER CHEAT. Ive reappeled atleast 8 times, and they aren't looking into it enough. I need to talk to someone who can actually take my problem seriously.

    In the process of writing a forum post just like this hoping that anybody can genuinely look into my case and show care for it and not just give me a templated response denying my appeal, thank you for sharing your case and showing there's hope to get our account's back from a false ban.
