3rd party fest

I know this is a BR and 3rd party is part of the system, but i feel that lately player's just sit around for entire games waiting to 3rd party other teams.

No one wants to get into a fight because of 3rd party, i have watch teams aiming at each other not firing a single shot afraid of getting 3rd party this is getting out of hand, and sucking the fun out of the game for me. Sm here to fight no to pretend fight i honestly don't even feel satisfied when i do 3rd party( if its accidental  as in roaming around the map and find 2 teams fighting sure wtv, but actively looking for 3rd party fighting only is just not interesting.

Most PUBs are hot drop than 18 mins of walking/ loot simulator and then 2 final ring is the 3rd party simulator again where usually the team that wins is not the most tactical or better player's tema but the one rating it out and waiting for the gun show to start  -_-, boooooooriiiiiing.

Most Ranked games are teams running from each other where premardes have an outstanding advantage against Randoms squad( this is a another huge issue with apex but i digress) this situation is aggravated  by the fact that RP loss is so penalizing that teams will try to go to the last ring possible avoiding as much engages as possible due to 3rdpraty risks. 

By the time we get to the las say 2/3 rings and depending on the number of squads a live it becomes a 3rd party fest.


I  honestly believe that the solution for this is complex yet simple, we need to change the RP system. Find  ways to not reward 3rd party kills, knocks etc.
The way lobbies are now assemble needs to  be changed premades should no forcibly be in the same lobby as random, at least we should have the option to choose what kind of lobby we want to go. ( premades should have no choice and bo alocated to premade lobbies only.)

  • @SgtVolcom117 forcing premades into their own lobby is a nice idea but dount they'll ever do it. But communication is huge is this game. But another idea to reduce 3rd party is make the shots not so loud. You can hear shots from 350 meters away. Then when u think about the redeploy balloons octane jump pads and trident. 3rd partying is too easy. On top of that everyone in the surrounding area comes rushing in like mindless drones.

    I'd be cool with a LTM that reduced gun shot noise juat to see how it plays out

    @F5arTheB5ard True, gunfights can be heard halfway across the map. Highly unlikely that a better lobby sorting system will be implemented. Retention time for active players is key am fully aware that these big companies have a lot of algorithms and people studying how to keeps us in the chair for as long as possible.

    Maybe one day Respawn will understand that for this game to survice players can't get frustrated at it because of features that are not in the game or not properly implemented ( as the simple option to pick what kind of lobbies we want to play, implementation of a regional lock, audio consistency, better server and a miríade of other things that should already be implemented or at least tried. To fail is no shame but to not try at is the utmost shame of all.
    P.s. on the subject of improvement I truly believe that the Res system needs a 100% remake from the getting the banner action to how long you have to retrieve it all the way through the big noisy ship in the sky symbolising 1/2 free kill for anyone still around.
  • @SgtVolcom117 Premades are already hurt badly by sbmm as they are moved into harder lobbies with other premades. Do you still get some in solo queue lobbies? Yes you do but think about this- Why should someone with friends get punished?

    As for the 3rd party thing. This is part of all BRs. Sound on this really has a huge affect during the game. But without the sound games could get pretty boring. Think about how hard it is to find fights sometimes.
  • @hayhor  i don't understand how sbmm hurts anyone( maybe am missing something in there), of course 3rd party will always be a thing but like @F5arTheB5ard  said ( and something that i had not thought of)  you can hear gun fights way too far to from you location, yes with no sound at all it would be awful but maybe tone it down a bit and what about creating echos so we can't pin point the location of the gun fight with such a high degree of precision( last nigh my team went to third party 2 teams fighting Between bunker and Market we heard them when we where between Labs and the Cage this is just too far. 

    I think that having premades or not in your lobby is just a matter of a) randomness from the server allocation of players and b) whatever algorithm Respawn uses to select how to fill a lobby.

    I don't mean we have to punish premades ( i solo q most of the time but i also have a people to play with)  so i can see both  sides of this idea), what i mean is create the choice for player to selecet what kind of lobby they can join:
    Mixed lobby, soloq/premade only.

    Regarding Sbmm: dunno if having a sbmm lobby and non-sbmm lobby would work but it could also be an option.

    i think you can agree that is harder for solo q player than for any premade squad ( specially considering that most random squad do not have comms and are not used to play together this in it self is an advantage a big one) and aren't we punishing soloq atm just because some people prefer so play alone ( i do this sometime to relax from a  hard day ) or even people who don't have anyone in their roster that play's apex ( i went a full year without my friends jumped on apex as they were playing other titles) and possibly many more valid reasons that i am not thinking of.

    Btw thank you for your response, i would like to say that am not "complaining" per say am just presenting my point of view on 3rd party lately, at the same time trying to come up with a possible solution while people can share their own experience on the subject and maybe other ideas to solve improve the game ( ty or that ).     @SgtVolcom117 I feel like the spitfire is really contributing to third partying in a really negative way. Just sit back and spray bullets at people who are fighting.

     @DarthValtrex That's an entire issue on it's own, holding merits for a post in it self. My 2 cents on the spitfire are as follows: an lmg should not have a great accuracy, they are suppression tools as such they do need big mags but they don't need such high accuracy without attachments this obviously gets worse as you add attachments to it

    Probably by doing this lmgs become irrelevant in the game unfortunately

    @SgtVolcom117 When I solo q I find the game harder to have consistent wins but overall the opponents are easier to kill. My kd goes up and win rate goes down. My best statistic wins come when I solo. This is what I mean when I say sbmm affect on premades is negative. Others I play with find the same thing.
  • @hayhor Hum I'll start to keep an eye in my games but thinking about it like that I believe you are correct. Solo q for me have more k's and less wins never looked at it from that pov, only struggling in the final rings. WP 😁
