abuse of a glitch for stats

this streamer has been abusing this and when i called him out he started to defend instantly, after some provoking he started doing it again and here's the clip of him doing it. [Removed by CM] ...

Chatted with him on twitch just now. Saw him use the bug to kill players in a match. He was saying abusing a bug to gain an advantage is not cheating, infact everyone should do it, claiming it is as justifiable as the bhop. Then he went into training mode to show how the bug is done, advocating others to do it aswell.

At one point in the conversation he said everyone not doing it is bad, as it's not giving you the advantage that's already in the game. Lost a few braincells listening to him trying to justify it.

Chaining melee attacks together like that, does what 60-90 dmg per sec? Add the constant knockback, and the ability to keep pushing forward towards the target, is gamebreaking. If its one thing I agree with him on, it's that. But I strongly believe this is a bannable offence.

His thought process on the whole thing is to continue doing the bug, stream it, make others do it, until its fixed. By his logic this would lead to pandemic and Respawn would be forced to fix it. And that he and others are safe doing so, because its not not bannable.

Would love for Respawn to chime in on this. I've never seen this bug outside of a few random funny Apex videos on Youtube. I don't believe this is as widespread as he claims.

Did not make it fast enough to see video what glitch is he useing and is useing a glitch a bannable offense just seems like something they would patch not ban for

@neillkorey Game companies tend to patch bugs, but ban exploiters tho. One thing is to make a video about a bug in training mode where the bug does not effect anyone. But he abuses the * out of the melee bug to gain an advantage in matches. Saying it is safe since everyone uses bhop and used the flight boost bug during the first few weeks. ( the freelook one, not the inventory *)

I tried telling him there was degrees of severity, as in how much of an advantage you get from it. But in his mind, its all equal, bugs are a bugs, and you are free to use whatever advantage you can get, infact not using this bug makes you bad, because it shows you are competitive. His words.

By that logic, the leap from using bugs to downloading aimbot isn't that far. It's okay, as long as you really want to win. Discovering a bug is okay, abusing a bug as gamebreaking as the chainkicks is exploiting a gamemechanic in order to remove the ability for others to fight back. He kept saying it was easily countered but his victims never got as much as a punch in.
