@dSKyNafinchin Nah screw ‘em! If they don’t want to hug me tight, they can die and star in a soap on how they died!
@HeyNameDoesntFi Like others said, without more context or gameplay or know all circumstances it’s impossible to evaluate. For instance I’ve had that I couldn’t hear the first callout of Valk saying that she’s ready to lift off. Most valks I’ve played with don’t ping tho and just activate (luckily not during a firefight) so I could still see that they want to leave.
With Apex’ beautiful audio cues it might be hard to actually hear the callout and if I only see a ping initially while I’m fighting ppl I would obv think “I’m not going there, I’ll die before going there. Why do you want to go there?!”. As a valk in my team and my semi-logical thinking I’d obv think “ahhh this valk wants to go”, but others might not think that or would rather go for shooting and hopefully winning instead of being strategic.
I’ve done the same as you as ppl on this forum can attest to. Usually I wait and ping multiple times if I see winning a fight is unfeasible and if the other person (usually a random) doesn’t come when I can clearly see that they can make it, I leave them. I even call out that I’m using my ult beforehand and while waiting so they basically have no excuse to not at least look over at me unless they’re so deep in their firefight or in thought that they don’t pay attention. If that’s the case tho, that person is already lost. If you can’t focus on multiple things at the same time in this game, you’re not going to do well.
