An unexpected ban was placed on an account that had spent almost $8,000
Three days ago I received a ban on my account for playing on a computer in a public place. I would like to say that I participated in the last Final Fantasy 7 co-branded event and Apex Legends Anniversary event and spent a lot of money and time in that event, but why a ban on my account that is quite incomprehensible that it shows me cheating to play the game?I was playing in a public place because I forgot to finish my pass quest for the day, so I chose to play in a public place in the cyber club, and I don't understand why I was banned? It could be that the computer I was playing on had been locked by EA or that the account password had been leaked out.
I checked the emails these days and it says "You violated rule #6, you don't have to create Cases to send to us anymore, we won't remove the ban for you". I couldn't believe that EA would send me an email like that, and I didn't think that I would be told that I was cheating and quit Apex Legends, I just don't get it, I've spent close to $8,000 on Apex Legends over the years. For a college student, that's a lot of money that you save every month to top up your EA account. I really don't understand why I should be given a ban on Apex Legends. I especially remember very well the last game where I received the ban, I did less than 300 damage to the game character and did not kill the player. Immediately after getting ready to start the second game it said client ban. Mostly because I didn't really know what the reason for the ban was until an hour later when I received a ban for cheating in my mailbox. I was very shocked by this. I've dealt with all of this properly with my advisor these days, but back end always catches me cheating on the tour and won't let go. Does it just accept the email that I cheated? What can I do? Please.
Unfortunately the EA staff who work here on AHQ cannot help you directly with account-related issues, such as bans, only the TOS team can help you.
It sounds like the machine you played on in public cafe had a hardware ban on it.
All the available information relating to your ban would have been communicated to you via the email associated with your EA account.
If you feel you have been incorrectly banned, the only thing you can do, which I think you have already done, is to dispute any action taken against your EA account by following the steps in this article:
https://help.ea.com/en/help/account/information-about-banned-or-suspended-accounts/
There is also this EA guide on bans and suspensions :

It is my understanding that you can appeal a ban a number of times, up to 3.Sadly It sounds like a permanent ban.
