You calling people casual.  But you are the one who sounds noncompetitive and unsportlike...

Did you miss the posts from the above avg players who don't want to play unchallenging matches against noobs either?  Did you see the other threads from them?

Trust me though I felt the same way considering this was my first BR except pubg but I hated pubg and almost NEVER played it. So when people who've lived on BR's or other fast paced games wrecked me I felt horrid but I just kept playing and watching streamers, learning good movement which guns/attachments to go for and now I can handle myself much better, my aim is getting smoother better lasering. It'll suck but honestly dedicate a full day 8-12 hours and by the next day you'll be insanely better.

If you say well you don't have time for that, then you can't really complain that you get wrecked? You play for fun while the others are playing more competitively or for a stream so they need to be good and streamers make a living off of it (good ones anyway) But whats the point of MMR if you don't plan on every progressing anyway? Most games with an MMR system have rank decay and if your not pushing those long hours even if you manage to hit a high rank you'll still get destroyed because most people there put in WAY more hours overall unless your just a natural that somehow turned into a god. Because obviously ranks cap at some point right? There aren't unlimited ranks. 

Also I'm sure they'll be adding all different kinds of modes for people later on, the game is still in it's baby stages. You guys need to relax and just chill out for awhile. This will probably be closer to 3-6 months of work in progress before THOSE kinds of changes come, we'll likely get solo's/duo's before anything MMR related if EVER get anything MMR related.

WHAT I THINK SHOULD BE IN THE GAME, is a practice mode where you can just invite a bunch of your friends to run around the map, learn spots/flanks/practice aim. Maybe even have a respawn in the practice mode so that you don't have to restart when you guys kill each other maybe even a firing range similiar to the tutorial but with moving targets (randomly generated movement) Maybe bots?  Where you can change difficulty or set them to no aggro so you can just focus on lasering/aiming.

umm.  stopped reading after no other BR has mmr.   Pubg has skill match making.  Even region locks.   And respawn does such a great job with titanfall 2's matchmaker.  They could probably do one way better then pubg.

agree that SBMM is a major quality of life enhancement for most players

or add a vs AI mixed in mode

I never played pubg,  but I read its skill based and they region lock.

I really think this game needs a ranked match maker bad and/or tier system just to stop all the dam hackusation threads that are getting out of hand.  I never thought I'd say this since I'm usually the one accused of being a hackusator lol.

I always considered quitting cheating,  but in apex I'm for quitting in many situations, because the dam community is so noob and toxic.    And i actually don't think cheating is a huge problem in apex when in most games I do lmao...  Again,  that just goes to show how horribly noobish this community is.

Apex has really blown my mind.

Can literally see both sides of the argument. It’s been popping up on fortnite for months to (I think it actually needs it now as the skill gap is astronomical even for OG players if not playing every day). Personally for me I’m not finding the standard to high to compete yet- I’m on PS4 and don’t get to play to much due to having a 1 year old. When I get on I’m either hot or cold but can hold my own against most players. I even find a lot of high levels complete trash due to arrogance and just dropping on their own thinking they are shroud. I think it could possibly throw between level 0-25 into separate beginner lobbies or something to learn the ropes, once you are getting up to this level you should be able to compete IMO.

Gamers these days?  I was playing Doom when id fiirst came out with it and you had to play with friends physically in the same room.  You inherited this from us, not the other way around.  You're welcome that we begged your grandparents to spend money on this industry and grow it to what it is.

Then I grew up and had to get a job . Now I'm married with responsibilities.  I can't play 10 hours a day but still would like a game to be FUN when I have the time and money to invest in a game.  I do not have fun with people teaming up outside of the game, segregating their finely tuned skill over years of practice, and leaving the newbs to be rolled over.  How am I supposed to develop muscle memory when I can't get 10 shots off at a moving target without being bopped? 

I don't mind having to practice to get good but in game training is completely inadequate to actual gameplay.  I've watched the videos, I've done the drills.  There is no getting better without experiential learning and adults can't dedicate that kind of time to that.  That sucks for the developers cause we generally have more money to spend on mindless entertainment than kids.  I want to enjoy this game, but being level 30 with fewer than 50 kills is pathetic. 

I recognize this, and I'd like to improve.  MOBA's set up ways to improve through skill based matchmaking, and if you want me to take my money back there, I will.  But recognize that's what you're saying to people you spent marketing dollars to reach... Go play another genre if you can't put in the time to survive past a 15 second firefight you get to experience once every 8 minutes.  

At this point I've uninstalled.  The community elsewhere online basically told me to quit, so I have.  But I'll be back if I can play with players of my skill level, against players of my skill level.  For now, bye.
