Just thinking of the wraith bug that happened many seasons ago.
Conduit, and in general, anyone that moves faster then the default speed. The faster someone is moving, the harder it is for the server to accurately display where they actually are. The servers are 20 ticks, which is incredibly low for a shooter. I get why and all, but then you have to design a game to be less twitchy in my opinion to play nicely with 20 ticks, but that's a whole other discussion.
The root of it is networking. They try to cater to all players, the more people they can reach and give a decent experience to, the more people will play, the better chance they'll spend money on cosmetics. They've said in the past, that they try to split the difference of how the game feels between a high ping and a low ping player. Sometimes it'll feel unfair to one or the other. That's fundamentally flawed. It should be the closer you are to, let's say 50 ms of ping, the better your game will feel. Give a reasonable target, so you don't have to have the best internet, or have the absolute lowest ping. Pretty sure Arena shooters back in the day tried to do stuff like that. Obviously, much different scope, but as a gamer, I miss the mentality of devs trying to perfect the online experience versus just "casting the widest net".
The game is objectively a mess in other ways as well with stuff like super-glides, jitter-aim, and let's be honest, most mechanic are bugs, they are not intended, but are deemed as "skill" now. A lot of times it makes people look like they are moving in bizarre ways, which can be very hard to track.
A game that evolves in a better way, in my opinion, is Rocket league, you're using the built in physics and combining different mechanics to create new ones. In Apex, they're mostly bugs that can be exploited.
I just lost to a crouching player.
I pushed I see a crouching player. I put entire clip of Prower into him. Nothing.
He stands... turns around. And instantly kills me.
What a joke.

Hey Legends,We want to join this discussion and clear up any confusion. As we can see you’re all passionate about the game and care about the gameplay, fairness and everything related to Apex Legends and so do we. I’ve been playing this game since day one and it’s been my favourite FPS since then.
The game has changed so much since its launch, even though it was already amazing from the start. Honestly, it has evolved in so many ways and I am excited about its future. With that in mind, your feedback is very much appreciated and is always being considered. We know that there’s always room for improvement and the community makes an enormous difference by sharing their experiences, ideas and fostering collaboration. For example, one topic many of you have raised in this thread is regarding weapon damage feeling different, whether from one player to the next or from prior seasons. We document any changes of this nature in our patch notes, so the News & Game Updates section is often a good place to see if something recently changed. If those don't match your experiences however, letting us know as you've done here or in a Bug Report thread is invaluable. The more information you can provide such as videos or screenshots, the more we have to work with when looking into those matters to help determine whether things could be related to a certain server issue, general connection issue, or something else entirely going on. The collaboration we've previously seen from you all across a variety of situations is massively helpful and leads to a better experience for everyone as a result.
That said, we would like to remind you to keep the conversation polite and constructive according to our User Rules and Guidelines as we work together to improve the game.
We’re looking forward to hearing your stories and continued feedback!

Apex's core issues are . . . .
1) Matchmaking
2) Cheaters
3) Smurfs
4) Netcode and servers
I have no faith that Respawn knows how to address these or even cares about addressing them. All they seem to be concerned with is an endless stream of battle passes and collection events.

The point is - People dont trust you anymore to put everything in the patchnotes. Respawn was a great company, but EA being the boss, has made you their literal slave that behaves like they want. And what they want is money. You dont make new things to out of love for the game anymore, your doing it to keep attracting players in order to spend money. The game has become a joke and has 0 integrity by now. not in a gameplay, not security (cheaters, recent live event hack etc)and not in a server context. Its completely wild to even think to play apex in a somewhat competetive context since everything is rigged from A to Z. I have folders full of me hitting fullpump Pk headshots, for 9-18 dmg with the enemy so close to they literally fill out my entire screen.
I mean, we all know, if the revenue of the game would eben slightly drop under a certain value set by EA, EA wouldnt even think twice about dropping the whole game. Which shows how much they actually care for it. I really would want to know where those record revenues went to? 2 years after apex came out newspaper told us apex made a profit of around 2 Billion. But I guess thats just how much those 50y o win 95 servers cost to maintain.
