Apex Legends HWID Ban Origin will be banned in Steam as well?

Got a question, if a hacker has been HWID banned in origin, will they be also be banned in Steam? Coz I don't think it would be worth it to download the game again in steam if it means they can still...

Im not sure,

Me and my friend have ban for no reason.

after apex release steam version, we decide to download it to test it out.

well, we can play around 1 week. he still good without ban, and I get new ban HWID
