Arena Cheater

cheater are common i know i know but arena mode is especially hard to catch one because we don't have a final kill cam or what ever tool we need to see the gameplay from their perspective. i hope respawn consider this problem as this is my new favorite thing and  i don't want it ruined because the same problem year ago. also match result screen where you can report all player is much needed.

@MandatoryIDtagi never said its an easy thing. Its like anti-virus and viruses on the net. Its always a battle.
But relying on old stuffs is just doing nothing.
As far as Ip/HWID bans, as far as i know they are doing this only on people that ddos-ing or so. Otherwise their ban is just an account one. You just move on to the new one.

As far as the comparison to the drugs i disagree.
Here we have a 100% proofs. We have videos, we have sites, we have forums, and we got all the information we need.
The year is 2021, you pretty much can get suit for anything that is illegal and you trying to squeeze money on someone else back.
And if all(won`t be all, but most) fight together this will be way easier task.
But i stated the reasons why this won`t happen.
There is hundreds of methods, its not just 1-2. And there is many people with unique suggestions and so.
But they are still relying on old stuffs, that are 100% proven that are not working in the long run.

As far as Authentication goes, how can they bypass it, if they are already banned ? By the time they realize they f***** up, it will be late.
But for that you need to perma ban. Not just acc bann, and bang he is on the next account and ready for the challenge.
Its the same with IP/HWID ban.
But again we are back to that they don`t want to lose that customer forever.

And again i`m not slamming on Apex, this is a FPS big problem. Most other MP genres doesn`t have such problems.

I love the game, otherwise not going to spend that much time in such topics.

Remember when Epic sued some kid for advertising/selling Fortnite cheats on YT. Epic got so much smack for it, people were saying how "big bad Epic ruined some poor childs life because of a video game"  People were literally defending the hell out of that kid making Epic look like the evilest company in the world. No way EA would go the same route, especially with their already messed-up reputation...

However, from a technical standpoint, there are tons of things they could do but they won't because this goose is laying golden eggs as it is. And really it's only around top 10% of the player base that is suffering from hackers the other 90% don't even see it as a big deal.

  • @_EXCALI13URN_ It's unfortunate but we cannot do anything. I invested alot in this game and I feel bad about it. ☹️ IMO badge boosters are ruining the game with cheats. So that's it. It's a lost battle. People are just obsessed. Probably matchmaking can make the game better. I dunno at this point.
  • honestly im so close to giving up. the whole cronus zen no recoil plague ontop of all the cheats is .just.. i cant handle it anymore. there isnt a single game without seeing either a norecoil or a very sus wallaim.

@EA_David You know, I love that you reply sometimes, I think its great for the community. However, I often find myself trying to understand why you reply to specific posts - yet fall silent on many others. Your need to defend is a given, as well as when receiving praise. But I am not sure if you realize how it looks when replies are absent, pending the question send your way.

Your words would hold more meaning if they fell into place at all times...not just when you are ready to rebuttal, prove a point, defend and so on.

Just an observation. Food for thought, or what have you.

Literally all they can do is fight against the tide. Even filing lawsuits against cheat sellers wouldn't work as others would spring up to take their place.

Well this isnt exactly true, in its purest form yes, but Destiny crew took a new approacth, they sue all the cheatmakers. The go out hard and it saved their PVP. If you look now Destiny cheat selling is a dying category. They sue based on lost income pr user based from userbase as a base rule.

Same HW/IP ban is very intrusive and can create huge side effects. HW ban for instance is possible to get around using VMs for a good hacker, but in general if someone buys  hardware used they can end up buying a "bricked" gaming pc because its in general banned everywhere, not sure that HW ban thing is the right path. IP ban can be catastrophic. Thousands and thousands of users can be hosted by a single provider, so banning a single IP just require the hacker to request a new IP from the dhcp - easy enough to do while banning a segment will ban many thousands of users from the game just to get one. I do think destiny is taking an interesting approach, and its going to be fun to see how that one pans out over time.
