Bloodhound Concept

I know Bloodhound is a really good legend at the moment and he/she has been for a very long time, however I have had some thoughts on how he could be made better but not by buffing him too much.

  1. When a Bloodhound scans another Bloodhound I don't think he should be as visible as other legends - so what I mean by this is when you scan for example a Wraith you can see exactly where she is moving for the duration of the scan. I think when you scan the Bloodhound, you should see him but not where he moves, so it identifies that he is there but not exactly where he is moving, so you see a highlighted silhouette for the remainder of the scan rather than the full movement. When in 'beast of the hunt' you can see a Bloodhound as normal like the other legends.
  2. When you track legends, I think you should see some more information, so rather than the quip of "enemies travelled through here" you get a quip of "a heavy legend travelled through here".
  3. When following the tracks of another Bloodhound, they shouldn't be so frequent, maybe one in every two or three.

My only reason for this, is because Caustic is unaffected by enemy gas, Bloodhound has the technology so maybe he should have that little extra when coming up against another Bloodhound.

By all means this is a bit of a long stretch, I am completely happy the way he is and these are just my thoughts and ideas.

  • While it could really mess with balance, I rather like the idea of another subset of bonuses for the characters

  • I like the first idea, otherwise I agree with darth that bloodhound is in a good place.

  • @rockyboy1998 Like you said I like the idea of more contextual information rather than the generic stuff we've got atm. And it can be anarchy when you're near a squad (especially when there's 3rd partying going on).

I'm defo a fan of a legend being the counter of the same legend because lets face it. A lot of time it doesn't make sense. Why would a Caustic be immune to gas but a Wattson still gets stunned (and damaged).

@DarthValtrex I feel like that would only be the case in pro scenes but idk if that's just because they're generally more observant/ react faster or just communicate better. I couldn't see it making much of a difference in the grand scheme of things.
