Brick Shield guy - Legend Idea

Here's the gist:

He's a shieldsman.

He uses a brick shield, solid shield, instead of energy shield like NewCastle or Gibraltar.

His shield strength is based off either body shield, knockdown shield, or a second slot for either of those that solely amplifies his brick shield strength.

His shield repairs slowly over time, like Watson's body shields.

He repairs his shield using medical items. Heals himself first and excess healing carries over to the shield.

Press passive toggle key to activate. (PC = "H" key)

His tactical allows the healing to apply to both objects, and allows shield items to apply to the shield after the body shield. Also reduces usage time of the object by 10-25%.

Rephrased, ish. Med items heal to both HP and brick shield by whatever their effect is. Excess healing carries over, allowing for double effect on the shield at max health.

Also allows shield items to effect the shield similarly to unamplified med items, except they are still used faster. During this they are used to first recharge shields, excess shielding carrying over to the solid shield.

Either is a timed effect or causes the next item used to receive the effect. Not very useful for shield items if it's the latter, but is more balanced.

Usage Times under this effect

  • Syringe: 4s -> 3s-3.6s
  • Medkit: 8s -> 6s-7.2s (might have base number wrong)
  • Phoenix Kit: 9s -> 6.75s-8.1s
  • Shield Cell: 2s -> 1.5s-1.8s
  • Shield Battery: 6s -> 4.5s-5.4s

Tactical's Effects on restorative Items

  • Syringe: 25 HP and 25 Shield Repair
  • Medkit: 100% HP and 100% Shield Repair
  • Phoenix Kit: just faster usage, already full restore for everything
  • Shield Cell: Excess shield restore carries over to Shield Repair
  • Shield Battery: Excess Shield restore carries over to Shield Repair

Ultimate V1: Something Similar to NewCastle's

Doesn't jump, but instead you see the placement area around you, so you know where it will place and what may block it

Fire to summon

Summons a barricade square around the caster that is about half as wide as NewCastle's but double length if it were made into a line

Design: take two of NewCastle's Castle Wall and merge their edges together, then fold the 4 elevated parts into 90 degree corners

Also summons a dome in the middle that he automatically crouches in

If he summons on a downed ally, they will be within the dome and it will automatically start reviving the downed ally

Good time to heal, can use a phoenix kit before a trio can destroy the dome

Warning: They still may have advantage if they bust the dome atop you, be careful when using it

Also, if an ally is near you like the downed person, then they too will crouch in the dome for a moment of protection while they heal as well

How to achieve: Use the dome to trap your whole Trio, and then all 3 of you fire upon the enemies when they bust it

Greater Tier: Your Trio downed/eliminated the 3 opponents in the squad that busted your dome

"Group Hug": Trap your whole Trio in the Dome of your Barricade

Alternate Functionality

While in Placement Mode, Press H to toggle Dome placement on or off, default on, does Not save when you stow placement because you may pull it out to Dome an ally the next time and won't have time to toggle it

  • Also, Gibraltar's arm shield should gain upgrades based off Knockdown Shield or body shield. Probably off knockdown shield.
    Blue is +25 (75) and Purple/Gold +50 (100)
    I heard his arm shield blocks 50 before dropping so that's what I'm basing that off of.
    His has swift recharge, Brick's won't.
