I need to understand why the 2x-4x can go on every marksman weapon except the bocek. as an avid bocek user, i constantly find myself begging my teammates to switch me optics. i love the 3x, dont get me wrong. but it just doesnt make sense to me, seems reasonable to be able to zoom 4x on a bocek considering you can with all other marksman. i keep thinking they will fix this but they havent so there must be an explanation.

@reconzero Frankly, the ability to swap optics AT ALL always boggled my mind.In the real world, you zero a specific optic for a specific gun, specific bullet load (grains vs FPS), length of pull, and often person.You might, depending on the gun, have a set of irons zeroed for like, 50 yards, and then a scope that works for 100 yard or 200 yards.But swapping them like freaking Lego?You should have to waste 5-10 shots EACH AND EVERY TIME YOU SWAP SIGHTS just to re-acquire zero.I'd rather see each gun only have 2 sight options, the default Iron sights and then the ONE TYPE OF OPTIC zeroed for it.

Like you said though, I get why they don't stick to absolute realism in a game like this. That being said, as an avid bow user, do you know of any games with realistic physics for bows? I would definitely be interested in checking out a recommendation of yours, because I think bows are fun

@dSKyNafinchin Best 2 games I have played for more realistic bow physics of late is the new rebooted Tomb Raider games, and Horizon Zero Dawn (and that last is hands down the BEST single player story I have played since KOTOR 1, the big reveal, when it comes, is absolutely hearbreaking). I totally recommend both, and you can get both on Steam.

Why can you only use digital threat on shotties and smgs? Why can I no longer use a 4/8 on a triple take? Why can't I bust a Kraber down to a 2/4? When anyone can explain to me the logic behind scopes in this game....

at least with other optics it is across the board for the category of gun. digital threat for shotguns and smgs, 2x-4x and 3x for lmgs, assault rifles, marksman, and snipers EXCEPT the bocek. dont get it.
i can put the 2x-4x onto any lmgs and assault rifles but not a bow?
i would love to be able to use it and i don’t understand the logic behind keeping it off of it

@hayhor I get why they do it gameplay wise - being able to snipe at range unheard is the ONLY way it's viable in a game side by side with LMGs. I love to use them on storm point to farm critters without drawing everyone for 200 meters.

But I'd argue that only an idiot brings a bow to a gun fight.
