Cant even play ranked anymore

Been playing ranked since the beginning of season 17 and cannot get out of bronze/silver. I peaked at plat pretty easily the past couple of seasons and now I cannot even get to gold. Almost, if not all, of the games that I've played have been against masters and preds. As stated before I've never even been close to either masters or pred so I'm not completely sure as to why I'm in the same game as them. I understand there has been a major change to the new ranked system and maybe they haven't worked all the kinks out yet however I still think that its insane for me to be playing against such high ranks in bronze/silver. The thing about it as well is that, its not every couple of games here and there that I'm playing against high ranks, its every single match. Theres no way I should be having the same mmr as these insanely skilled people.

    No they have royally messed things up. I was Plat 1-3 and Dia 4 all prior seasons, I can get ran over by diamonds, masters and preds, in Silver 2-3. It's none stop, the games have turned into GO CAMP in a corner. It's like last season if you missed a shot, everyone was about the same skill when playing, now it's like how the hell is everyone at like 90%+ accuracy at all ranges.

    Are you guys factoring in you have to get to top 10s and prioritizing rotating and not fighting in your games? They made a huge priority change this season. No matter who is in your lobbies fighting before top 10 is just a bad idea.

    Well 6 games in a row I was out before 15 teams, so yes. I haven't won a game... When i have upwards of 300 win since launch because I was playing people around my ranks. Everyone has perfect shots. When I get get into Diamond, players weren't this consistent. It's just none stop rails from cross the map. Honestly stopped playing, it's not fun to because you play as a solo, you get 2 teammates that just hide in a corner to gain ranks. Or you decide to fight and you get lasered. What's the point of having a battery if you lifespan is sub 3 seconds in a fight. I have maybe close to 1000 - 2000 games, but it just plays terrible right now. 

    You're forced to not hot drop because you'll lose, because everyone is high ranked and then it turns into a camp fest if you land away.

    @hayhorIF you care about lp. I watched my friend stream yesterday from Bronze and Silver. She actually had endgames. 😲 So obviously, at some point when I can bother with Apex, I shall try this ranked thing. Unfortunate for my randoms, if they just wanna camp until top 10, snipe, and play Wattson/Caustic. 🤪

    @CCbathwater I played some ranked yesterday. As you mention it felt like very old pubs. Teams spread out a little and you could get fights throughout the match and have a good end game. If you don't care about lp it is actually fun. I did all my games as an aggro caustic btw. 😉
