Caustic Control Map Improvements

I love control but the Caustic map needs some work-

1- The map needs more movement availability. Barometer and PS5 maps have tridents. Put them on Caustics map too, or put a couple of the jump things in front of A and C, not just behind.

2- Point B kind of sucks. To control the point you need to be in a weird low spot with very little cover. Then whatever team has it spawns directly on the doors for it so they can shoot the other team in the back. None of the other maps really seem to have either issue.

I'm at the point where if I see SP as the BR map and caustics as the Control map I play something else.

  • @hayhor I'm not a huge fan of this one either. I did find a somewhat hidden corner that is in the cap zone, but I was still completely exposed from the one doorway/catwalk. I found my spot, up at the stair landing at the door that looks down toward the front doors facing the spawns, that worked pretty well for me. I was able to watch our rear flank on the left side, and keep the 2 enemies from coming around that way. I had to run Octane though, just to be able to get back to contest B when they gained control. The ziplines are just a death trap on that map. I like your idea of putting one of the jump vents in front of A and C. Definitely my least favorite of the Control maps, so far.

@dSKyNafinchin Yeah as caustic on that map I head straight for B, jump down into it, throw barrels, shoot them to get the gas flowing and hope my teammates have come with to cover me. If they don't, it doesn't work.
