@asukojo Its a joke. Apparently they said caustic usage went up in the time period between when they announced the planned changes and now. Well yeah you said a buff was coming so there was hype. Eventually people would have stopped using him again.
@hayhor Wonder if this played a part in Imperial Hal being swatted last night. 9 cops swarmed his house. Kinda the timing to me seems like someone was that salty? lol
- @E9ine_AC Swatting is so stupid.. They'll likely catch the people who did it.. When they get caught they'll face some serious felony charges.. Their life will be ruined, they won't be bondable. SO they won't be able to get any type of job with the Government. They won't be able to work for most big companies.. The only jobs they'll be able to find are jobs no one wants, like clean porter potty's.

But what's just as disturbing is that the PD don't investigate any of it. They just run off pedal to the metal. Even minimal investigation would have prevented the SWAT raid.- @DarthValtrex It was likely a kid I'd bet. Nothing will happen to them either.
- @hayhor Oh no even if it's kids they'll likely face criminal charges. It just won't be as severe punishment. It depends on their age and the state they are in amongst other things. They do not mess around with that kind of thing. But if they are 15-17 they can likely be tried as adults.
I feel bad for the parents, because if it was a kid and they trace it back to the house. The parents can ultimately be held liable for any damages that were caused. They won't be held criminally responsible, but they can be held financially responsible.
One 17 year old was hit with 77 charges, 40 of which were felonies.
3 other adults were charged with federal charges and likely life in prison for a swatting hoax that resulted in the death of the person they swatted.
Definitely not a nothing burger.. VPN and spoofers are not full proof and can still be traced, it just depends on the resources the PD/DA want to put into the investigation.
