The charge rifle isn't nerfed at all.. The gun still is way over powered. Throw the damn thing in care packages if you're going to keep it the same. Everyone on the map grabs it and it really takes zero skill to use it. I like some challenge in the game so I'll take a triple take over it any day but seriously you can kill someone with it in 2 shots.. It's Unbalanced in the game in my opinion.

@DoYaSeeMe Peacekeeper requires somewhat skills so your comparison isn’t justified sorry, Any scrub who just pickup this game can be good with the charge rifle cant say the same with the peacekeeper, at close range peacekeeper vs peacekeeper i’ve come out on top because the other guy had the choke hopup and missed every shot while i had nothing and melted him with headshots .. Chargerifle can strip your level 3 gear in 2 shots without even feeling pressures or any form of sweat building

I agree, it seems to have increased in usage over the last week as well. If there is a gun that will make me quit playing this game, the charge rifle is it. Ridiculous weapon and way too common.

@CASEYDlLLA Close range? 30 feet and 2 shots from a shotgun isn’t close range. Not to mention that this weapon ‘snaps’ onto people (on consoles at least with aim assist if you turn and aim).

@CASEYDlLLA You can compare close range vs long range, why not. In close range, you can finish a downed player, you can loot his deathbox, you can keep his teammates from recovering the banner. If you down someone with the Charge rifle at 300m, by the time you reach his location, that player is back on his feet, in full health and shields, waiting to rain fire on you with his teammates.

Also, max damage you can do with the Peacekeeper is 165, a lot more than what you can score with a Charge rifle.

@SethCurry It was a comparison of short range vs long range. If you want to compare the weapons, Charge rifle certainly rules at long range, but at short range is more difficult to use and way less damaging than a Peacekeeper.

So what if any scrub can use CR? Is this game supposed to have only hard to use weapons?

But seriously you can't compare the peacekeeper and the charge rifle.. You don't lose the damage at long or short range with the charge rifle.. It's almost safe to use the cr at close range like the shotguns as well as long range.. I see the charge rifle around the map constantly and never use it.
With this gun even with the ammo nerf it's overpowered in terms of keeping guns in a group with the others... Huge damage, decent fire rate, super accurate, and decent ammo per clip.. Makes this gun overpowered still compared to all others. They should've kept it the same and put it in care packages imo.
