Cheating, new population and TTK (EU servers)
Hello Apex Legends team,
I'd just like to give some feedback regarding cheating, the arrival of a lot of Russian/Chinese players and the new time to kill updates.
As an average skilled player whom doesn't cheat (no interest in it nor the capacity) I find this update rather frustrating.
Here's why:
Indeed since 2024 and now in 2025 I've noticed more and more cheating. I report it when I notice something completely off, but I doubt much really happens.
Secondly, I've also noticed a massive influx and change in the player base on the European servers. Indeed I am seeing more and more Russian players using the vocal, but at the same time less and less British, Germans, Italians, French or other EU nationals. It's a bit off putting and doesn't really correlate to the choice of using an EU server as an EU citizen.
Thirdly the TTK update is making the game rather frustrating as we spend most of our time in the re-login queue, too much so. Add to this language barriers, lower skill level players in group and an obvious increase in cheating methods, well we end up with a rather disappointing 'gaming' experience all in all.
The game was fun as a hop on and off experience, but it's stretching even that method of gaming a little too thin with what I've mentioned above.
(Edited for personal addition: My friends who play on PSN refuse to play with me on the PC/mixed servers because they feel that cheating is too high, they do not enjoy the experience, hence I do not play with them and it's a shame).
