They removed the ability to chain configs with the +exec command, meaning that players cannot make scripts to neo-strafe, superglide and stuff like that.
Tapstrafing would still be possible via a config as far I'm aware, but it's also important to keep in mind that it's possible to tapstrafe without the use of a config by binding the forward key and jump key to a scroll wheel.
I don't think anybody complained about tap strafing via m&k bindings. Since that requires momentum from moving. The problem is tap strafing without running. Anyway, I can see why Apex lost ground to just about every other game out there.
