Confused, Please Respawn answer this one!

My kingdom for anyone that can explain....

My son and I were playing in pubs last night, came across a guy solo that obliterated us with ease. After spectating, we noticed this person had just over 6000 kills for season 15. Yes, over 6000 kills for just season 15. Now I am genuinely curious to what people would guess someone with over 6000 kills for this season at this point through (what has it been 2 months?) - what would ones KD look like with those kill numbers for one season? Anybody, please anybody? 

My son has just over 5000 kills totaled with one character playing him since season 0. My sons KD is about 0.8 / my KD is about 0.9 this season. Imma go out on a limb and say its got to be much, much, much, way, way higher than those. Am I wrong or way off. If not.....please someone explain to me how in pubs is it possible for my son and I with our KD's to be in a lobby with someone that has 6000 kills just this season alone?

    @NickBeam276000 kills is nothing in a season for streamers and don’t have jobs that play all day. If you suspect he’s cheating then report him.

    You’re with your son? You’re probably in a lobby with other premade squads. It doesn’t matter what your KDs are. If you’re a premade, you’re up against mostly premade squads.

    @Cheese9Man Thanks Cheese, so basically there really is no such thing as MM in pubs. Its sad than to think that two level fives new to the game that are premade - and because they are premade, could go up against a duo team that is premade with 100,000 kills each that could be level 700's.

    Yeah, I think at this point I might have to just give up on this game. My sons and I have had 0 and I mean 0 fun every session we've played for the last 5 months, longer really more since season 11/12 but its took an ugly turn more so as of late. We continue every few days to go on and give it 5 games. We tell ourselves, lets just play 5 matches and if we get stomped by master/ preds, with 20 bomb badges and 50,000 kills and up, we'll turn it off. Been that way every session. We all want to uninstall but we keep going, in hopes it will change. All of us have been playing since beta launch. We used to have so much fun playing, even losing back from season 0 through to season 5 or 6. Now its just awful. I can't believe this is the same game we've been playing over 4 years.
    We get punished for playing together. If we win one match in 20 games, we are immediately punished right after - 10 fold. The game feels rigged, manipulated...even our wins don't feel earned.

    Just a shell of what it once was.
    We are bothered, and feel what these Dev's have allowed this game to be or turn into is greedy, irresponsible, unethical, dishonest. But above all we are mainly sad and feel betrayed by a company that clearly no longer cares about its players experience over player numbers and profit numbers.

    Addiction sucks lol.

    @NickBeam27Shoot should see people like Diego. He did 30 thousand kills on valk in 1 single month. Some people just have a ton of free time and the skill to go with it.

    @NickBeam27 I’m with you brother and I agree with everything that you’ve said. Just playing to finish the BP. What happened to apex this season and late season 14 is a wake up call to the team. Their numbers are down and they know it.

    I guess I'm more disappointed and sad than angry now about it all.

    Which is awesome for them and I comment them for that. But what are they doing in a lobby with two guys whos KD is under 1, with a average damage of 250 per match?
    Lol - dunno why im laughing, it really isnt comical anymore.
