@Lord_Scorpion34 Until recently I was extremely happy with my AIM controller. It then developed what I decided to call stick twitch. Not stick drift - that I'm used to playing on a lowish curve and low dead zone. This thing was twerking and jerking all over, utterly unusable. Then I was outraged to discover that they only warranty the sticks for 45 days! So I went back to Scuf. I've had the Reflex for about a month now, and I have to say it's by far my favorite custom controller I've yet had. The best part was that, since I didn't need to "customize" anything to get what i wanted, the new controller was in my hands in four days. At least the sticks are warrantied for 6 months on this one. Knowing controllers, that's probably about how long it will last without developing some drift. Your console looks great!

@Lord_Scorpion34 Nice console. Mine sits in a slot where you cannot really see it so it is not decorated. I added a 1 TB ssd to it and have two aim controllers now. 13 months, no drift. No way I am ever going back to no back buttons or even 2 back buttons.

BB has the same issue as the other brands of a multitude of reports of premature stick drift. I have heard great things about the thumb stick tension options. There are options out there that are better but AFAIK you can't use them with a PS. e.g. there's a Razer model PC players swear by, and there's a controller that has optical thumb sticks (I think that's what they are, I don't have time for a bunch of google-fu to look it up) instead of electronic potentiometers, which can be recalibrated if they develop drift.

@Lord_Scorpion34 I know someone who's owned 2 elites that out of box had stick drift.

Pretty much end up leaving the charger plugged into controller whilst playing. That and buying extra springs to self replace ones in trigger analog buttons.

I actually reverse the controls so the digital triggers are used for ADS and fire and not the analog ones which have to depress down more.

Strange this might seem but I also reverse my console and PC so hot air blows not against the wall but into the open room, so hot air exhaust not circulating in a closed space. Keeps my face warm during winter also.

I've got a battle beaver custom for ps5.
Great controller but due to the back button setup if like me you have big hands it really isn't gonna be well suited to you, as the buttons are small and feel clumsy to use.

@MandatoryIDtag Interesting. This was my concern with that brand. The buttons can be moved when you order but they still looked too small. Pictures I've seen of the back of the scuff look like I'd accidentally push the outer buttons when pressing the inner. The aim setup fits my hands quite well with no accidental presses.

I strongly considered BB but for two reasons did not buy. First and most importantly, AIM was literally the only 3rd party controller maker actually SELLING PS5 controllers when the update came. Every other manufacturer was just taking pre orders. Second, I just couldn't come to grips with deciding on the button locations without being able to feel them in my hand.

So just a quick update. The controller I just got in January is already drifting! This is almost criminal. The newer controllers were supposed to take longer to drift & this 1 is doing it faster than my original 😩🙃🤬😫! I'll be reaching out to Sony but I need to find my tools & try to fix the other 1 first.
In other news I also updated my TV finally. I went from a 32in 1080P Sony that I've had for nearly 13 years to this 55in 4K HDR Hisense.
I can def see farther in game which has improved my mid-long range accuracy. Although I still haven't been able to fully get 120hz. My old Sony I could turn it on & off at will but this TV it goes based off the game & other content which I don't necessarily care for. I'd rather be able to control when I want the high refresh rate. It's a great TV for the price tho.
