Devs are losing their cool.
I don’t know what to think anymore, is it warranted, sure, should he be doing this tho, not so sure. If i replied to one of my clients like he just did, i’d be fired in a heart beat, just saying. h...

Unfortunately, i don’t think the Director of comms even knows an Apex forum exists.

@Gabrielmojo26Are there devs on AHQ forums of other games? I think this is a place exclusively handled by EA through community managers. I'm also supposing devs are not allowed to post here officially, to avoid conflicts.
@DoYaSeeMe if there are devs on other AHQ forums, why would devs officially not be allowed to post here? If its just aoiding conflicts from the community then that seems a bit lame.
Are there no conflicts on other AHQ forums?
Are conflicts there not managed properly by cm's?
So why not trust the cm's here here?
Or given what we've seen of devs posting elsewhere, have the devs been banned from here for that reason, and not the community behaviour here. If so EA considers them unprofessional.
- @OldTreeCreeper I'm not speaking of the usual conflicts between devs and community. There can be internal policy issues, conflicts of interests, etc..
In our studio, devs are strongly discouraged to discuss with the community directly. We do all that solely through community managers.
I think he’s joining the studio with the other ex-Respawn devs. He was great as the director of comms in general (except for that one incident) and I wish him goodluck in the new chapter of his career. Hope the new director of commes is calm and collected and really gives out details on what’s going on in this live-service game.

@Asmodeus566He has nothing to do with the map, or design, or programing, or coding.....he was a communications guy, and did a poor job at it.
