Did Mastiff Get Nerfed?

@KelRiever  Let's face it, people who like low ttk find it difficult to kill someone cuz you know they lack gunplay skills. And want the dmg to be increased to compensate for that. Uwu I couldn't kill this guy from behind, UwU increase the dmg please cuz I can't land more than 2 bullets. 

High ttk separates skilled from unskilled, anyone can land 5 bullets on an enemy. Dumping a whole magazine into someone is a whole different story. Imagine hitting your shots, couldn't be you.

People who want lower gun damage get mad when they get outplayed, that’s all there is to it.  And they don’t want to admit they lost so they blame high damage.

That’s about the mastiff, the Peacekeeper, a sniper, an auto rifle, any weapon and pretty much every shooter.

@KelRieversounds like you should go play COD, that weapon balance appears to be more your style. The difference in this game is that the way it is balanced it gives people a fighting chance even if they are shot in the back, it adds a higher skill cap to outplaying enemies vs simply winning because you saw them first

Wow, you seem to be the one and only person on the internet who thinks the Mastiff is not OP. Congrats on that. You are like a unicorn.

If you want a lower TTK, you should play COD.

@BaldWraithSimpwell, its not as easy as you think. You still can land a headshot, and kill the guy with one bullet instead of 5.

For me it is also funny to need one whole magazin to kill someone. I know it'S not like in real life but come on, whole mag is a little bit over the top.

Thats why I liked the hardcore mode in Battlefield. But that's another game. I don't like high TTK in generall.

@twitchSeriel_FPSthats the point, move smart, then you will not get shoot in the back, or you will be the one who sees the other one first, and you can still maybe survive, if you manage to land a headshot.

Higher TTK lets you also get away with bad positioning, ob bad decisions cause you just have more time.

It would be more tactical with lower TTK, so maybe they should turn this into a third person shooter, cause thats the way of a action FPS where you need 2 mags to kill someone.
Third partys would also not be as annoying as it is now, cause TTK ist lower, faster kills, more time to prepare for the next squad.

Teammates would start to use their brain, or get killed in sec cause of rushing in as a brainless something

Again for those who like low damage, you keep making some excuse that if you get shot and killed it must have been luck or sometimes someone with lower skill than you got lucky.

Think about that for a moment and tell me that doesn’t sound like whining or making an excuse.  You got killed always because someone outplayed you and was better than you

The issue here is the game loses its fun when it keeps catering to whining and excuse making. You can see a long litany of complaints about the decline in the quality of the game.  Maybe it’s because Respawn has to keep trying to placate thin skinned players who, rest assured, are ready to moan about the next weapon that kills them.  Which one is it going to be now?

If you get shot one time and die, or 20 times, you weren’t the better player. Deal with it.  The Mastiff was fine, it assuredly was the player who got killed by it that was the problem.
