Did they stealth nerfed Pathfinder's grapple jump?

Since the battlepass update i feel like Pathfinder's grapple doesn't give you the same boost it used to when you jumped right before the grapple landed pulling you up and forward. Now it feels like it mostly pulls you forward.

Anyone feels the same way? I haven't seen anything in the patch notes about it being nerfed but it certanly feels like it was.

It's sad because i found it so fun to use i would rather they just left me with a big hitbox then change this. Or maybe they didn't and i'm just missing my jumps or something. Or maybe they just made the time window where you need to press Jump a lot smaller.

Any other Pathfinders mains here? What's your take on this? Does it feel different or am i just imagining it?

  • Patch notes says:

Fixed the exploit where you could do infinite wallclimb using Pathfinder’s Grapple.

So, yea, it might be nerfed.  Can't speak directly to it myself as I have only played PF a few times.

  • I am not sure whether you are talking about the same grapple jump, but i had no issues with performing it yesterday.

  • I had no problem doing the grapple jump yesterday after the patch. Worked just fine for me.
  • Yeah after playing around with it for sometime i did got it working most times. Maybe it was just lag or the grapple length or mechanics changed a little trowing me off missing my jumps. It felt somehow harder to pull off then before.

Got scared but now i'm relieved. Frikin loving the game. Also feels weird not being the fastest legend anymore :D Wherever i go, Octane beats me in speed, either looting or just climing up high places no others used to climb before :D

I love the interraction though, feels like competition :D This game is a recipe for success. Most unique legends i ever saw. Octane is an awesome addition.

Can someone explain what changed with his crosshair? I don’t see any difference?
