So the Iron Crown event is coming to an end. I fell short of the 100 top 5 placement in the event by 10 (I got 90... have to go to work so I won't make it). I am not sad though because hilariously the hardest thing to achieve in this event is offering the least rewarding thing to me from the game so... oh well.I was just wondering if anyone really pays attention to other peoples badges? I don't. I think I notice the badge that shows the level of the player, but honestly I don't know what most of those symbols mean or even care to look it up. I know some of the tryhards will look for the 2K kill badge when inviting people into their exclusive club but does anyone really care other than that? Does anyone look at and admire other peoples badges at all or is it a vanity license plate for your dude?

Ifell behind like 11x top 5's. It would've been a bit fun to try to make it but then the game became such tryhard grinding. Lost the fun. Actually could not care less about the badge. Only thing it tells you is that you had enough time to play. Top 5 isn't actually so hard to achieve. It just takes time.And I work now, so I don't have that much time. Everything else is completed.Even the ludicrous 10 kills with L-star that you don't get from package like ever. :D

I don't care about badges, I'm here so I won't get fine, so I don't even trying.

@BovinePiracy I care about it, just like most ppl playing with randoms. If I see lvl 10 or below, I’m out, if I see 10-50 and not a ‘high achievement’ badge, I have almost no hope of their skills. If I see a person with at least 1 high achievement badge, I’m much more settled on the idea that that person knows what they’re doing.

That’s the extend of me caring. It’s not that if I see someone with the 2K/20 kills/Triple Triple badge that I’m like: holy bowlingballs I have to follow this person and see what he does

I think badges have wasted potential. They make great challenges / achievements, but are not pushed forward efficiently.
Regarding the hardest Iron Crown challenge (top 5's), I think a great reward would've given people more incentive into camping / hiding or cheating. I believe this may be another reason why the shiny skins are only available for high prices, while chances of getting ones from the free chests are so low.

Maybe all owned badges should be shown in your character's intro screen, not just a maximum of 3...

@BovinePiracy I just put the finisher badge on and my finishers. Get a lot of disconnects from people who judge solely off of badges lol

Nope, badges don't matter. The only thing that I look at is kill count, because you know that someone with tons of kills will be hard to deal with. That's about it.
