- 6 years ago@Koochi-Q sorry mate, build up? i'm not sure I understand
- 6 years ago@TXC_Rafael The slight charge it needs to actually start firing. That annoying sound you have to listen to before rampaging over your enemies or that wonderful sound you hear just before engaging an enemy who has the havoc

@Koochi-Qor that terrifying sound you hear behind you seconds before your death when you're trying to run away with 50 hp? :D that's a lot of "you"' in one sentence lol.
yeah the statistic is when the havoc actually starts shooting. all guns have their use and can shred you within seconds, but the problem about havoc for me is that that it has his full fire power as soon as you pick it up, mastiff for example may have high damage but the firerate is garbage without a shotgun bolt. or r99 my favorite gun really starts to shine as you get that extended mag.
How often could I kill 2 enemies easily with one havoc clip off drop, that gun definitely needs a different change than adding some recoil imo.
hope you understand my english lol - 6 years ago@TXC_Rafael Lolz nahhh... I dont fear dead, I embrace it, do you? <— this should be a rev quip xD.
Yea figured as much cause I think the rev up alone requires like 0.2 of a second. But I absolutely agree that the gun shreds. I’ve had instances killing teams with 1 clip all because they were either huddled together or had no armor or 1/2 had armor.
Firerate now is garbage right now, but the good kinda garbage. Carepackage mastiff was overly good. Even with precision r99 shooting I think you could technically still kill the enemy if you both had lvl 3 armor.
Also true, that gun needs a clip to be really viable, but first 30 secs anyone you come across, with good aim, can already start their bible verses :P - 6 years ago
@TXC_Rafael Basically, energy mags were removed after the sniper class was added, originally it was only light, heavy energy. This moved the triple take out of the energy class and i'm pretty sure the L-star used to use them too but that was reworked( So many buffs nerfs and reworks my memory gets a lil hazy with guns i don't care about).
So obviously this left only the havoc using energy mags...and having multiple energy mags strewn across the map for a previously deeply unpopular gun made no sense so they buffed the hell out of the havoc and removed energy mags from the loot pool...hence the mess we have today and the reason for this post.
In short, havoc needs a lower mag capacity if it aint requiring mag attachments.

The Havoc without any attachments performs like a fully kitted weapon.
-Simple recoil
-Large projectiles
-Minimal bullet drop
-Large mag
-High DPS
-Needs no attachments
In a game built around looting and building weapons, this gun is the definition of “problem”.

@Axs5626Sxa5001 this precisely , r99 has higher dps potential supposedly, but unless you’re aim bottint that’s irrelevant til you get at least a blue mag barrel stabe etc. havoc is ready to fry off the rip
- 6 years ago
@boy_Hoodle What do you mean by that? The R-99 seems to consistently shred players regardless of the user's skill level. Unless you're comparing an SMG to an Assault rifle when it comes to distance fights. You're not really clear on that so I don't know if you're intentionally being misleading or assuming everyone on the forum can follow your assumptions.
- 6 years ago@heme725 Yep and you have a movement advantage with the 99, no wind up time and a very quick reload. Plus the 99 is pretty accurate with a good barel mod.
Speaking on drops, any weapon melts when you have no armour. - 6 years ago
I totally agree with OP about the current state of the havoc.Literally melts purple shield so easily.
BUT THE WORST PART IS WHEN U ARE IN CQC AND HE USES THE FRIGGIN HAVOC AND BECAUSE OF ITS MUZZLE FLASH U CANT EVEN SEE ANYTHING
