EA 3 days ban for what?

I recieved a 3 days ban for Inapporpriate Content (General) - even though i dont post nor chat with randoms, also the game is not for children (Apex Legends) - and under it they only mention my username and nothing else. The same username that i've been using forever (>10years) so I doubt it is the main reason specially that no word is offensive in it.

Your customer service never explained which rule i was breaking exactly and the exact reason for the ban stating:

"we again found that we actioned your account correctly after it was found to have violated our User Agreement. We will also be unable to provide any details regarding our internal procedures"

So how do you want me to know why I was banned without any clear explanation. Its a silly ban with a silly period but i really want to know the reason or did we reach a dystopian future? Should we expect this from EA in the future?

  • @LordVirginKiller  While it sucks getting banned and not knowing why, account related issues sadly cannot be handled on the forums.

You should however be able to find the ban reason on help.ea.

    To find your ban history:

    - Sign in to your EA account

    - In the top left corner, click on the "Manage My Account" drop-down box

    - Click on "My ban history" at the bottom of the list

Alternatively, you can click here to jump straight to your ban history, (you would still need to sign into to your EA account).

Note: If the ban reason doesn't show up here, (or the ban doesn't show up at all), the only other way to know, would be to contact EA Support again.

Please don't spread misinformation on AHQ @hehetehe12.

Our team independently review all ban appeals and it is not an automated process.

@EA_DarkoWell I received back an automated response to my ban-appeal so that is just something I assumed. & let's be honest here, your banning system is indeed automated. No real gamer would agree someone who's invested as much time as I have or takes gaming as serious as I do should be permanently banned for that. If I was wrong, I apologize though. I just need this issue resolved.

Hey @hehetehe12 if you continue to spread misinformation then we may need to take action.

Our TOS team use templates for responses to ensure there is uniformity it the replies users receive.

If our team has denied your appeal then there is nothing we can do to change this.

@EA_Darko Let's be honest, you could do something if you truly cared for players. This is why Steam will always be more free & the all-around better platform. If I was on reddit & made a post & it gained traction, action would be taken or if I was a popular content creator for example.
  • I have also received a ban for 3 days for my PlayStation username. no warning at all. I have been waiting over 24 hours since following the procedures outlined about disputing and no reply. more than likely wont be replied to before the bans over. No option anywhere for any support is ridiculous and i have to sit in limbo over an unjust ban.
