okay so i started in s10 and really want to enjoy the flatline but theres a p2w skin from the season 4 battlepass im more than happy to purchase it or something similar can by anychance 1 with them ironsights be put in the shop or the s4 heavy metal 1 put in the shop for purchase? Im sure im not the only 1 who will snag this up straight away revenue for EA skin for the community... think newer players should be able to enjoy them ironsights too.

@hayhor I'm the same way with the PK. I use the the Blood & Stone BP skin which is has significantly more clutter than the "P2W" craftable skin. Guess what, I still clap with my clutter skin. Not once have I ever said "I only lost because I wasn't using said skin"

@UncheerfuIl I really don't get the whole pay to win skin thing. And by don't get I mean people overexagerate what a skin does for you.

@UncheerfuIl I hope they don't do that. I grinded my way to EARN that battle pass skin. They never have put any BP skin in the store and I don't think they ever will. That would be a kick in the face to then player base who supported the game then.A wise man once said "You snooze, you lose"

Respawn are free to sell recolors of battle pass skins as they see fit. They've already done so with several legend skins. Just several weeks ago they sold a recolor of a well-regarded lifeline skin from an early battle pass. I don't expect them to do so with lvl 100 weapon skins, but who knows? In S11 the ad copy for the battle pass was changed, and they can freely sell anything again that they want to from S11 onwards. Edit for OP: I don't think you can purchase it right now, but the Champion Edition comes with a Flatline skin (Slayer's Lancer) that has iron sights just about as good as those on Heat Sink. You could probably purchase a digital code for the edition second hand, or wait until they figure out what they are going to do with the stuff from this edition going forward.

@Ea can you put S4 flatline skin in shop or new skin with same iron sights?

@hayhor its the heat sync skin im sure theres another 1 also. But the ironsight is much clearner its raised whereas most aare lowered and have a cog or some other weird objects too the left of it. It also makes the recoil feel much easier too handle with the raised sight. Think if you have it play a few games with it on then switch you will notice it

@UncheerfuIl I have the skin. I've used it and always go back to the most beautiful skin there is, slayers Lancer. No matter what skin I use I'm slapping a sight on anyway.

@UncheerfuIl I'm not going to debate whether it or not it provides an advantage, because you are indeed correct. However it is a minimal advantage for a very short period of the game, unless of course for some reason the user decides to opt for iron sights over a bruiser for example.
That being said, I'm all in favour of them releasing old battlepass weapons. I've never understand this whole "insulting the OG's" logic people hold.

@MandatoryIDtag I'm with you on re-releasing skins. I don't get why people get so upset when it's done. I can't believe people think it won't be done. It's a digital item that you turn on with a few lines of code, not a physical item you need to setup a production line for.

@DankToliet All they have to do is release a recolor of the BP skin. Then people that don't have the original will have something with fancy sights and the rest can buy another skin.

@MandatoryIDtag Firstly thank you for acknowledging its benefits as many seem too be faded. I like too run r301 2x and flatline ironsights. So for me and others who use the same its very beneficial
