EA confirms Apex is dying

This is the second time I believe that EA has said Apex has underperformed financially (first time was January this year). Respawn/EA continue to prove they're out of touch with the community & don't understand why they're not making as much money: firstly the majority of the community do not want recolour events & yet surprise surprise we're getting another one at the start of next season. When we do get original skins they're mostly terrible nowadays: I can count on one hand the amount of good skins the past 2 years. They also keep releasing holosprays & ground emotes in collection events that players mostly don't use. I know we have always gotten epics in events, but I don't know anyone who is happy to buy the epic skins in events (people only buy them for the heirloom etc); banner frames/poses & skydive emotes are great/fine, terrible epic skins are not. Not only are we getting a reworked legend, rather than a new one there seems to be no map change, despite all the teasers for Storm Point this season. Not that I think it would have made much of a difference changing POIs that are out the way because it would still be a terrible map, but the lack of effort is telling. The last few seasons & the coming one have definitely proven they're not willing to put in the effort to improve maps, quality of life, cosmetics & most importantly player retention. They won't have a community of players if they keep making bad decisions e.g this season's ranked & the fact skydive trails are being removed as ranked rewards next season. I have been wanting more skydive emotes/ set trackers for legends who only have one or none & yet for some reason Pathfinder is getting another one. So Pathfinder will be on something like seven or eight sets of trackers, whilst Newcastle, Catalyst & Ballistic have none. Not only that, but Mirage hasn't had a skydive emote since season 4, 14 seasons ago!!!
