EA Disappoints Again
Again EA decide to shaft players of its games with no crossplay and progression, when will they learn? I have no desire to play this game until they sort their lives out and stop shafting their play...
Your totally right Junta but equally if players don’t take a stand they are as guilty as the console manufacturers and games makers.
All the petty console/platform battle lines should be ignored and these people should be thinking about their gaming community. Kudos to Epic and its player base as well as it’s You Tube streamers for levelling pressure on Sony to make it happen. Also there are other games like Rocket League and Paladins moving in the same direction, time for EA to smell the coffee.
People just want to be able to play with their friends when they want and how they want. Games companies just wanting to rinse their player base are becoming even more exposed, FIFA is a prime example of this.
Junta your point is well met but Apex is flawed and that’s EA’s fault. Any shooter game coming to market has to have C&P enabled otherwise it won’t compete. Take Black Ops, my Sons drove me mad for it as it was the next big thing, within a month they were all back on Fortnite, why? Because they could play with all their mates on different platforms (yes Sony isn’t the only one out there). If I can understand this why can’t EA?
For the Record though @ThisIsTheJunta Epic had cross platform built in from the beginning. Remember when BR first launched in Fortnite PS4 players were able to play xbox players on "ACCIDENT" They later patched and fixed it so ps4 people could only play with ps4 and pc people. Then obviously later down the line they turned it back on so its a free for all.

Note the date in the article that was over 10 days Before the OFFICIAL release of Battle Royal as they allowed people to pile into the servers basically 2 weeks early for load testing.
I say all this because Sony has been the problem for years. Microsoft has Publicly stated numerous times they don't have an issue with cross platform play. It's sony that
always has some time of strange excuse like in this article

But yeah I agree with you having that filter option would be nice especially in FPS games.
