I've experienced this in every competitive shooter I've ever played. Just as @hayhor said, this is exactly the effect that skill-based matchmaking produces. Everything feels right, right up until everything starts feeling wrong even though nothing has changed. Only it has. Instead of playing against the bottom 30% now you're playing against the top 50%, and it's a whole different ball game.
Plus of course there's all the interference from the chip the FBI put in my brain.
One thing I have noticed is that I win my 'first game of the day' far more often than I ought to. According to my stats I should win about 1 in 15, but it's something like 1 in 3 (not that I keep accurate records).

@EdwardDLuffyI guess I’m on the raw end of that, who do you think gets punished when others have good luck ☹️
They’ve put me in the carry-your-teammates-but everyone-else-is-a-pred lobbies. I’ll be giving out wingman headshots, and my teammate with a flatline will be painting the enemy a nice outline.
