@pastaclownThese guys dont want to get good at the game and it frustrating.
These guys want the devs to alter the game so they can win.
Begging for a smaller skill ceiling.
Begging for small TTKs.
Begging for OP weapons that either Beam or 1 shot other players.
Then Begging to not be put in Lobbys with good players that will Beam or 1 shot them with such weapons.
Its freaking obnoxious.
These guys keep crybabying that the Devs "fix" the game so they can win.
"Just use your brain."
"Just practice and get better."
Whats next begging the Devs to allow cheats without getting banned.
The other day I was watching Mr. Curtain play season 6 and his friend knew they lowered the TTK as a way to lower the skill ceiling.
I have been playing Warzone for 2 weeks since Apex season 6 release. And I can say playing Warzone is 1 of the dumbest experiences I have ever had. No skill, just parachute on top of someone kill them instantly then die instantly to other parachuting players. Then reparachute and do it all over again.
Is that what people want, another mindless shooter?

The board rules say no politics, so I won't discuss anything political here. In addition, anyone's personal feelings or responses in regards to the following paragraph detailing a personal recount of someone's experience with Coronavirus, not necessarily indicative of my own political beliefs, will be utterly ignored. So!
In many countries, everyone knows that wearing a mask helps prevent the spread of Coronavirus, and improves your chances of NOT catching Corona, in addition with other practices. It is quite literally, backed by science. A man on Facebook caught the virus, spread it to his family, and it permanently damaged his lungs. After detailing this, his next statement was, and I quote, "Wearing a mask is a hoax, don't believe everything they tell you, it's perfectly fine to go around without a mask. Don't let the government take away your personal freedom."
If people can't be smart with their lives, how can anyone expect them to be smart with what brings them joy?
You know what changing the armor won’t do?
Make a suck player any better.
Blaming the armor has been for most another way to understanding that they simply lost because someone else was better than them.
@KelRiever so what's your opinion on Developer Daniel Z Klein and the below linked statements? Edit: I realize too late that this could come off as snarky or rude. Not my intention. Genuinely, what's your opinion on the below statements, and do you think lowered TTK was better for the game despite the in-game data collected by the developers?

Honestly, pastaclown, I think it's a big crybaby excuse.
Now, there are some people out there, maybe you included, who understand that what TtK is, is a preference. But the vast majority of complaints about TtK I've read on this board and hear are basically excuses for losing, excuses for being outgunned, and basic whining.
So, you know, I'm going to keep playing and I'm going to keep winning. I'm sure you were also, even though you didn't like the TtK maybe. But in the end, all this change will really do is have more people crying about servers now, and how there are cheaters and on and on and on and on. My biggest problem with the announcement isn't even the change back to the original state, more that it, to me, is clear that EA itself is a whiner influenced company. Respawn is a whiner influenced company. It's suck ups.
Probably, I shouldn't be surprised. Let's face it, this game is a copycat game. Yes, there's some original things about it, it plays all right, it has some fun lore. But the people in charge are followers, not leaders. They didn't make Battle Royals, and they didn't even make them innovative or profitable, like Fortnite (that's not a subjective 'do you like' Fortnite, it is an objective like Fortnite or not, it's a far better game from a popularity and money making standpoint).
So, Apex, I like it. But it's run by people who wanna be. And they respond to wanna be's. It's really not about the TtK much, more than I suppose i expected at least a little spine from Respawn about their own decisions, like them or not. But they really don't have any.
Nobody is joining this game over the TtK. And if they were losing players, then probably they're going to lose them anyway. Because the moment a change comes around that they want to blame for their losses is put in again, they'll whine their way to the whiners.
I'm not worried about it personally. I'll keep playing, but I can't take this game seriously much anymore. It's just sort of a throw away game.
@KelRiever that's pretty fair. This season did spawn a lot of really not constructive feedback, and I feel you on that. I won't comment on much else because I don't want it to seem like I'm trying to argue with you, but overall my reaction to your post was, "Yeah, that makes sense, this is pretty fair."
We do agree though, Apex has dropped the ball on innovation. While there's nothing new under the sun, it really is unfortunate that during it's release, other BR games scrambled to copy Apex's respawn and pinging system, and now a year later, Apex is the one doing the copying. While I do stand by my other post where I say, "The greatest innovation is stealing someone else's idea." it only really works if you push out said idea before the other party.
That's really it pastaclown, just the experience of Respawn is a letdown. I haven't paid for my battle pass this season and I'm not sure I will. At the very least its a good experiment on what it's like to play with no BP and see how easy it is to get to Battle Pass level 100 with no xp boosts.
