Flicking Viable?

i'm wondering if Flicking is viable/possible in the current version of Apex?
I was flicking in season 1 and 2 with great precision.

i'v seen pretty good players flick with great precision in those seasons.

Now, i see none!

Everyone is tracking.

Is there some hitscan-hybrid function to the new registering of shots from season 3 to 5?

i'm slowly going insane trying to tweak settings so i can flick again.

@N1Crypt It’s probably the meta weapons.
The meta weapons are mostly automatic, leading to a rise in tracking rather than flicking.

That, and probably aim assist or just aimbot.

I would flick if my mouse would actually work well...

Meta changed, flicking was awesome with PK pre buff and Longbow in Season 2 (when it was good). I do still see people micro flick with Wingman though.
