Maybe I haven’t been clear that these are high plat lobbies and not your hotdrop henry pub games. Not only that, I’m in a 3 stack against other 3 stacks. There’s a big reason why this map hasn’t been used in the ALGS for 2 years now.
If the circle favors the east or north side of KC, the game feels less frustrating. The map is unbalanced. This is a map issue.

Video one: team has bad map position and gets rinsed, makes a whiney video about it because it was long range gunplay for which they were unprepared.
Video two: was there even any gameplay examples of what Timmy was saying? What WAS Timmy saying? Ranked gameplay is hard? High-ranked gameplay is harder? He pointed out all the places where squads could have been (but weren't) and then acknowledged that when he said how hard it was to cope with all this he may have been exaggerating.
It keeps sounding as if sweats want close-range gameplay, but that isn't always what this game doles out. More so this season? Yes. But I'm sorry to say it: if you're a diamond/master/predator ranked player then your matches should be hard, and if you can't handle a change in meta then maybe, at least for this season, you get knocked down a tier or two. How is this not the nature of the game?Well said.
Sounds like some players just want to keep playing they way they always have.
Only to find out that they need to be flexible and adjust to the change or they just get rinsed because they can not change.
Part of being a good player is being flexible.
