"the past couple of days make me wonder wtf yall changed"
I would have said "the past couple of seasons," but the point is well made. And I hate to sound like a tinfoil hat wearing conspiracy theorist, but the thing that's changed the most is that the game has been taken over by people who are cheating in one way or another, or in many ways at once... and the developer addresses the issue with ban waves. Banned players appeal and are re-instated or they just move to a secondary, with developer approval, and keep on cheating in an endless cycle of game destruction. This is why every single bullet they fire hits you and yours evaporate into air as they leave your muzzle. This is why it is no kind of exaggeration to say that the game now literally belongs to the cheaters and the rest of us hang around at our peril.
Get a xim and bottle of Ritalin. Or just get a PC and google your cheat manufacturer of choice. But whatever else you do, don't think you can leave this game for some other shooter and the problem will go away. It won't. They're all the same now. It used to be that some players were bad people and the developer was your firewall to keep you safe from them. Now it's almost every player in the game and devs stand around pretending like everything's okay because either they have no idea how to solve the problem or they have no interest in solving the problem. Depending on your level of cynicism.
