If youre going to force pc players to play against console players. Aim assist is too powerful and ive never been lasered by mouse and keyboard like i have with controller. Its broken and needs removed

This is just not true, you see it every game when watching the ALGS or any good streamer. Aim assist does not reduce recoil so the player would have had to control that really well so they were probably just a good player. TSM Imperialhal plays with a controller player on his team so doesn't seem to have a problem with it. TSM also played a tournament with controllers and won ( they won loads with M/K before) but have gone straight back to M/K. As professional players that make their living from playing I would think they would have stuck with the input method that gets them wins and more money. I would infer that most of the pros are ok playing with controller players as I don't really hear of them complaining about it to ALGS organisers. Obviously not for the first time and clearly missing lots of shots and not 1 clipping people. Only have to watch the first 2 mins2 - again shiv 1 v1 a controller player that insults him in his stream. I don't have a problem with it and I must be really bad because I miss lots of shots and hardly ever 1 clip someone. I now prefer to play on xbox for a number of reasons that include not aggravating RSI and also not getting frustrated at trying to google solutions for why games just stop working all of a sudden (and the solution is deleting some some random code that has appeared in one of the system files for the game). I have lost days trying to fix some games and that just doesn't happen on xbox.Hope you get something from the videos especially the second one.

@TperodactylI was looking for the enable aim assist in the accessibility options because why wouldn't a soft aimbot crutch be in that section! See what I did there?
Yeah game developers are clueless to allow automation in the game. Overtuned automation at that.
Can't even opt out of allow plebs with aim assist in your game if you are PC.

Like I said in the other post, controller is overall inferior to keyboard.
It isn’t just casual controller players, pretty much all controller players would suffer if aim assist was completely removed. At that point, a good chunk of their playerbase would be put at a considerable disadvantage, which would make Apex less popular for them.

Sure, in a real life sport or other competition, players wouldn’t be given automation over other, but that’s assuming they are all on equal ground to begin with. Which doesn’t apply here, since not all players are on equal ground.

Edit: I’m fine with it being turned down, but it should still be there in some form.

@Sir_Named This. Besides, it's generally agreed upon that aiming with a mouse and keyboard is FAR easier than a controller

@GH0STEDbyME Yeah, I'm just a little confused with OP's post. Generally speaking, whenever cross-platform is announced the biggest concern is how much of an advantage PC player will have over consoles. If anything, they're able to laser people far easier than any average console player

@scottohash94 Thank you! It happens every time cross-platform is announced on every game. PC are happy enough when there's more people to queue for their games and when they're flying around getting easy kills. Until they die by a controller player and it's "AA is trash!" "AA is hacks!""Unfair advantage!". I'd like to see them do Aceu type movement on a controller and try telling me about how much weaker M+K is.

Why do i complain? Because I have NEVER IN MY LIFE been lasered as badly against a pc player like i have against a controller player. Ive never been headshot 5 out of 9 bullets from a flatline. A FLATLINE. One of the hardest guns to control recoil. Controller player.
i dont care what 'advantage' i have. you shouldnt force ANYONE to crossplay

@Tperodactyl It's a pointless argument. I've played in PC lobbies and been lasered to crap from insane ranges. It's gonna happen regardless the desired input. And if you factor in all the different kinds of cheats there are out there It's even worse.

See that's where you've flopped it. You can't complain about controller players having AA when your attitude is "I don't care what 'advantage' I have". I couldl just counter with I don't care that I have AA. Such a pointless back and forth.

Yes. You're right. They shouldn't force anyone to cross-play especially when they told us we'd be able to turn it off. But there's absolutely NO POINT in flooding the forum with threads of it. You're literally screaming about the same thing until you're blue in the face and guess what? Respawn aren't just suddenly going to go "whoops guess we should get rid of AA". Never gonna happen.
