Getting killed faster and more often

Having exactly the same issue. Was doing reasonably well (for me!) last season, and enjoying the game the most I have since I started, but this season sucks! Shields seem completely pointless, as they just disappear in a split second, followed just as quickly by my health bar. Most other players I come against are ridiculously accurate, even at range, not missing their shots and seemingly knowing exactly where I am.

On the other hand, I seem to be matched with team mates who either get wiped as quickly as I do, or who seem to think that a team game is actually the100 yard dash for people with no sense of direction!

Also seems that even when I do get the drop on my opponents, my shots don't seem to count as much as theirs and they just laser me down while I'm reloading. Even had one guy that i emptied 3 full clips from a 45 into them from behind, able to see the damage numbers streaming off them, but they refused to die and just kept running while i ran out of ammo!

All in all, very frustrating, and getting difficult to even bring myself to play now.
