Gibraltor's gun shield -tactics-

Hey if any of you guys are Gibraltar mains, I've noticed that when I see youtubers playing gibby, they don't utilize his gun shield the way you'd see in games like rainbow six siege. in fact it's rar...

    @NitefireOP  I get where you're coming from, sacrifice offensive ability for greater defensive ability, and if this was any other shooter that would be fine.

    However in Apex with the sheer pace of play it just wouldn't work. ADS gives speed penalties so cuddling up behind your gib would just leave you liable to a myriad  of "cluster foxtrots".

    Before any of you forum lurkers show up with your pitchforks, remember the guys just spit balling  ideas lol. 😛

@DrenMadre & @MandatoryIDtag, you guys give us forum members a bad name. This guy is inquisitive about something and just spitballing so he won’t get flack from anybody... I think :P

If he was like ‘Gibby’s shield needs a buff’ or ‘make the shield last longer or let it cover more’, then the pitchfork would be equipped. Scratch that, we’d evolve in an instant from the Dark Ages’ pitchfork to New Ages’ laser torches that can be used as laser guns and burn this place down! XD

@NitefireOP yea these 2 above have given clear reasons why it would not work. Gibby now already is like Spaghetti... there’s just no ending him when the Spaghetti is full (HP)... even if you finished most and are full he still has a few spaghetti pieces (HP) and retaliates.

Can’t tell you how many times I shoot a gibby in the back just for him to turn around, shoot me with that shield equipped and look and see that I’ve done 170-191 dmg... when I also broke his shield...

If anything, that shield needs to count as damage given as well >.>

@Koochi-Q Actually I thought @DrenMadre & @MandatoryIDtag gave reasonable answers, I didn’t feel any way offended or them being aggressive with their responses, in fact their counterpoints made sense.

All good here 🙂

    @NitefireOP Oh no I didn’t meant that they gave unreasonable answers, I meant it like ‘you make us all to look like a deranged Gibraltar hating cult’ with what they said over us forum members who might start piling on you harder than an 18+ video XD. They def gave good answers and that’s why I agreed with ‘em :P

      lol....and tell me honestly.....you didn't expect a blowup about buffing Gibby    lol

      I just wanted to brace him against the coming storm was all  😉

        @DrenMadre Usually blowups happen in the way I previously mentioned. If someone babies about buffing an ‘OP’ character. If asked nicely or just enquiring, usually... with emphasis on the ‘u’ (XD) that’s not the case. Except for one-time flies who just wanna be toxic. The regulars are just toxic whenever someone comes crying XD
