Unless you've been disconnected from the game against your own will due to an issue outside of your control, it's your own fault so quit whining.
It's called an abandonment penalty for a reason....get a clue folks jesus.

@SixthOTD exactly bro, tired of logging into the the forum to see the same whiny * snowflake posts about the fact they've been banned for something that's their own fault. It's getting ridiculous.
If a player wants a match that they can leave any time, they can choose to play unranked. Playing ranked it is also fun and games, but as the name says, it is a ranked game. I cannot see why just because you are not feeling like it your squadmates should pay for that and have less chances of winning.
Take it or leave it folks, I believe that indeed penalties are justified in that case.
