Hacked Account

So back in 2024 December I decided to stop playing the game. Nothing unusual considering I played apex off and on. But recently I have came back to the game and my account I can no longer access. The email has been changed and it seems they have added a phone number and 2 emails with a playstation account on there. Now... I have contacted EA support for about 30+ times now providing my personal information, steam it was linked to and a dozen invoices of purchases I have made on steam. Now I have gave everything I believe is correct as I cant change my personal information so I know that is correct. The problem is because I was hacked I cant access my account or my email so I have no way of providing a code they have sent considering I have only had 1 email connected to my account. I have been trying constantly and they keep saying we cant authorise your account but you are very close to recovering it. Even if I explain what emails was connected to my account the last I had I logged in or my IP address or steam ID which I provide them. No matter what I try I can't get my account back. I even know who has it and their EA ID and platform they connected it to. Even after saying all this, they refuse to give me my account and I have tried everything at this point. If anyone can help or give advice on this, I would much appreciate it...

    Hi kenzen19,

I hope someone from EA will respond and help...

I'm sorry, but we can't help with compromised accounts through the EA Forums. You did the right thing by connecting with our support team directly through EA Help.

I know it's been frustrating so far, but the support team do want to help you out. They won't ask you to verify any newly changed information; only the EA account owner can answer it. 🙂 So far, it sounds like you've not yet been able to verify account ownership, and until you can, the live support team's hands will be tied, for now.

The best thing I can recommend is to try again to provide the information they are asking for as accurately as possible. For example, our EA Help guide recommends having this information ready:

    • The original email address used to set up your EA Account. You mentioned this was hacked, if you can try to recover this that would go a long way as you could then retrieve the code being sent out.
    • Any usernames or console IDs connected to your EA Account: e.g. Xbox Live Gamertags or PlayStation™Network Online IDs, Steam ID, etc.
    • Any invoice numbers from games you’ve bought from our store e.g. EA app (formerly Origin). The proof of purchase guidelines are strict, so it's always good to double-check each image meets the criteria to be verified. In the guide I linked, check out the headings 'General requirements' and 'Digital purchases > Steam' for more information.
    • Any older game codes you redeemed on your EA account via the EA app (formerly Origin).
