Hello? Developers?
Apex Legends on Console Is in a Horrible State, and the Developers Need to Be Held Accountable.
Apex Legends is getting harder and harder to enjoy, especially on console. Between cheaters, DDOS attacks, suspicious players, and ranked matches being ruined, it feels like the people who actually play this game are being completely ignored.
How are we still dealing with DDOSing and cheating in a competitive game that has been around for years? People spend hours grinding ranked, trying to improve, and pushing for higher ranks, only to have their games ruined by people who exploit the system. What is the point of a ranked mode if players can’t compete on a fair playing field?
And the most frustrating part is the lack of meaningful action that console players can actually see. We keep hearing about updates, balance changes, legend reworks, and future roadmaps, but what good is any of that if the fundamental competitive experience is still being ruined? Nobody cares about another legend adjustment when they can’t even trust the integrity of their ranked matches.
Console players deserve better. We deserve effective anti-cheat measures, real consequences for exploiters, protection against DDOS attacks, and communication that goes beyond vague promises. Stop treating the cheating problem like it’s something the community should simply learn to live with.
Apex has the gameplay to be one of the best competitive shooters out there, but gameplay alone isn’t enough to keep people around. Players will eventually get tired of investing their time into a game where fair competition feels optional.
The question is simple: how much longer are console players supposed to put up with this before the developers make fixing the actual game a priority?
At some point, the community needs more than promises. We need results.
