How can EA Allow this ?
How can EA just allow Respawn to just dictate that they don't want to have developer crunch. It's a joke of an excuse also stating that they want to push good content thus not rushing is weak argumen...
Believe me I've already moved on my game pass is maxed and there is nothing left for me to do in this buggy mess you are the reason developers don't try their hardest saving face for them with nothing in return. Good luck in life continue white knighting maybe it will get your somewhere :eahigh_file:
Oh dear.
White knighting? I'm being a realist. Your attempts to exaggerate to prove a point meant I didn't take you seriously from the get go.
I'm the reason for lazy developers? Really? So how did you draw that conclusion? I don't buy games on pre order. I don't even buy games soon after release. I buy them after I see/read trusted reviews, and I buy very very few games because of the decline in quality and upturn in loot boxes and micro transactions. I'm a very selective buyer FYI.
I played The Division 1 but won't buy the sequel because it's as broken as the first one. I've not bought a Cod, or Battlefield in over 4 years. Same * different year. I'm not supporting that tripe. I didn't buy Pcars 2 because the first was such a mess. Apex is free, so I tried it, enjoyed it and here I am. Don't presume you know me or my spending habits.
Division 2 is not perfect don’t get me wrong but they have corrected a lot of the problems that the first one had and it seems they are more willing to address problems on this one that they ignored with the first one may want to look into some more recent reviews after the huge patch they put through last week or the week before

Thanks for the heads up. The Division 2 It has tempted me, but I will not buy it.
The heal delay bugs, skills delays, server lag and teleporting NPCs still stick in my throat (and the huge exploits early in the games life, and the account lockouts which lasted weeks and weeks) I won't be going back just on principle.
Not to mention the "getting stuck on a tiny screw on the floor" (scenery in general).
@Silz616 Since you're all comparing games to Apex. Let's compare fortnite to apex for two things.
-On release, both spent a lot of money on advertising, for obvious reasons. Huge launch, discover bugs later.
-Both games are of great quality, but had bugs.
People across the world had fortnite running at launch without issues in lounges, bars, homes, etc. because it was playable. And still do. Apex could be in that place if it lost some of it's bad notoriety, gained some good rep.
-The difference is most fps games remain playable, they fix things relatively quickly. There's a major difference between an exploit and a minor bug. Cheats and a minor bug. And then all of them happening at once; complete disaster. Shows that the launch was rushed and game files are insecure.
-Exploits should be fixed relatively quickly, but you can still make portal loops and punch the inside of a loot bin to fly across the map and everyone knows it. Pathfinder's hitbox is also a technical exploit. So that's why things are the way they are.
When someone has a rough game because there's many issues and cheaters in Apex- they're going to post on the forum. The developers have to take full responsibility, because other games had the same issues. op is right, Apex has had so many exploits I can't even remember them all. No other popular br has had this many impacted problems solved so slowly since h1z1. Especially since they have the resources. So it's more accurate to compare apex to h1z1 right now, which was a complete burn barrel.
Have you ever played pubg when it was over a year old it had a fix pubg movement because it was so broken and fortnite was not quick to fix problems in the beginning the br of the game was an after thought for fortnite you all amaze me with how little you remember about fortnite for the first 6 months

@Silz616you are on point with your comment! The decline in quality of new games is really high. I don't buy anything from Ubisoft or EA. With other releases i wait for release and reviews as well. Because in most cases... the game is broken from the get go, and it takes a year for them to fix it.
This game is free, so i tried it out and really liked it. Alltough i have gotten tired of it. Once you max out, there is nothing keeping you here. No incentive to keep playing (except for the fun part). But me and most of my friends have moved on from Apex.
Apex really need some refreshment, like a competitive scene. I know Respawn wasn't ready for the attention it got. But they really need to upscale to be able to compete with modern games. They have no seasonal events, no extra events, nothing special. Just the regular Battle Royal grind. I do not expect Respawn to be able to fix stuff within 24 hours. But they need to actually talk to us, and maybe do something more then 1 gun, 1 skin every season.
Exactly my point. The way respawn carries themselves around this game is unacceptable.

Agree with you. Respawn do need to step it up, but I'm waiting it out. I don't play as much (this is not content related for me though, just a bit of burn out from hammering Apex solid for months. Even with new content, I'd be starting to play less anyway) but I tend to stick to just a few games that I enjoy to play. Apex is still one of them.
I get people are frustrated, but for some to say Apex is "the worst" or words to that effect is just wrong. It had a pretty flawless launch, completely under the radar.
If I had paid top money like other AAA titles, I would be far from happy, but this game is F2P and I like Respawn as a developer so I'm willing to let them do what is right by them. Yes it's to slow for some, but this title could evolve into something great.
Just frustrates me to read such ranting know all comments by some. But hey, this is the internet 🙂
Thanks for a civil discussion on the subject.
P.S I think Respawns communication has improved a lot. Very clear, transparent info they are giving us now, which is more than can be said for other developers (Massive, Treyarc, Bethesda to name a few).
....moved on , nothing left to do ....
Plays one round of chess and won.
Moves one cause nothing left to do in chess..
Honestly. I wasted about 15 mins reading this posts. If could replace "lazy reaspawn" with -globe- and "they will fix" with -flatearth- and it still makes more sense then this discussion here.
Okay, lets say all of you agree to KeepersWay. What will change ?
Right, nothing.
You still belive devs or EA will read this * here and think: oh ! Good point this angry ppl posting here ! Lets change everything.
* guys.
