Id just leave if your team wont comeback for you they probly dont have it in them to make it to the end anyway iv had alot of fights where my team is beter armoured and armed then me but wont push when the time comes and just sit in a corner watching me fight 2 or 3 people those people usally come second to the team that works together thats the great thing about apex que times are fast
I run behind them melee'ing them towards the gun fight. :D
In all seriousness, i just avoid playing with non mic users, its not their fault but the communication issues just make it impossible to run an effective game.
Like if you want to push an enemy and they don't for whatever reason they can't express that reason. Which makes them look like trash players wandering off on their own when there could be a perfectly valid reason.
I've had this happen to me in the past when i've not been using mic, teamates were determined to push an enemy squad early game and i'm rocking 1 thermite grenade a helmet and a heavy extended mag....naturally i didn't want to go pushing an attack i'd be helpless in. :,)

Why would I motivate my teammates to fight? That's not the goal of the game. I generally try to get them NOT to fight for no good reason (and there generally is no reason to fight before top5).
If everyone is fighting, the best tactic is to let them kill each other. I prefer teammates that actually understand that.
@Biochemikas Thats fine and all but there will inevitably be situations where you have to go on the offensive before you make it to the last 5 squads, in which case having one or two squadmates who appear to be more interested in hoarding loot for example will get you all killed. 😛
If they can loot without finding a fight, so can you. If you choose to not run away from enemies and fight knowing that teammates are not able to join that fight, it's really your own problem.
As for players who literally never fight, even when a fight finds them and is inescapable - I really don't ever meet such players.
- @Biochemikas This sentiment is the reason I dislike having teammates like you. Nothing against you but if you’re that opposed to fighting that you actually want to encourage it, I see no reason why someone like that plays a shooter.
I motivate my teammates by letting them see my awesome badges! I want to have fights that are beneficial to us, not random fights. 99% of the people I get in random queue just fight for the sake of fighting, up to the point of absurdity like running OUT of the circle to hunt enemies. E.g., I've lost 2 teammates in a gold ranked game just yesterday when they pushed a team outside the circle, then died to the circle (I think it was 3rd or 4th circle since they died extremely fast) and exclaimed "**** circle". Well, the enemies died - great, was definitely worth leaving me alone in a top3 situation.
So yeah, I generally need to STOP people from fighting and I really never have to encourage it (even if I was feeling "rambo mode" I would generally still need to stop people from taking stupid fights (I don't bother though, rambo mode is just for fun)).
As for badges, I'm usually showing 2k damage badge, 4 20 sec kills badge and 28 elite top5 badge. And then the first thing I say in random ranked game is: "I don't fight until top3" (intentional exaggeration; I tried top10 and top5, but really top3 works best).
My hope is that translates to: "I can kill people well enough, but I don't appreciate fighting".
P.S. I really don't mind playing alone. If people want to die stupidly, I won't cry over it. I'll get the banners if I can and revive them somewhere they won't be able to find a fight so easily.
You can't, plain and simple. You can't encgourage a timid player to fight nor engourage an agreesive player to hold back when they want to push. Believe me I have tried. I can't tell you how many times I have seen my 2 squad mates rush into a situation and die in seconds, them ping like mad for me to come get them. I try, but most times die. Same with playing it safe. So many times we have lasted to the last 2/3 squads and my team wants to hang back and hide, I say "come on let's go, lets find them", ping "let's go there", nope, they won't move. Only to get rushed and killed because we got flanked and shot from multiple angles or were hiding on a cliff side with no escape. (I really don't get that one)
Re: Fight of Flight
For me it depends. If I am jump master and someone pings Skull Town or the "Blue Light" I know they want to jump in to the mix and if the other player agrees then we go. My standpoint is that's OK if we are not in Ranked cause it gives me the chance to practice up. You can't better if all you do is hide.
If someone says "Hey, lets go for the win" then great, we go somewhere away from the frey, loot up and play smart. Especially in Ranked.
I usually only play ranked when I can get at least one friend in my squad. Hopefully one better than me,
