@Unitee01As bigmac mentioned, apex is a game and should be played for fun, unfortunately it's a very competitive game, and it seems like a majority of the players I come across care more about the competitive aspect than actually trying to make sure their team as a whole has an enjoyable gaming experience.
It should also be played as a team game as the game was actually made to be, but so many people have the opinion of play as you want, and that combined with apex being a br game, just doesn't bode well for the team play aspect.
All in all, Apex is a game and it's hard to define what exactly would be the correct way to go about doing it, this are just ways I feel would make it a more enjoyable game.

I agree that it’s just the nature of any competitive game. You’d be suprised how a game like Fall Guys could be sweaty. Also that game has SBMM which is a very hot topic just like in Apex and any game where it is applied.
Edit: Just to add another “casual” game. You can’t win in an online game of Mario Kart as well as that game can get sweaty as well. If it’s a multiplayer game, people don’t like loosing and will do everything to win. Everything to the point that some even cheat.
- 3 years ago@Cheese9Man I know man, it's like everything online has the difficulty cranked up to 11. I don't play Fall Guys myself but I've seen Dr Disrespect play it just for the heck of it and it's pretty funny really. I also watched that tournament that Ludwig hosted some time ago which was fantastic. people really take simple games like that really seriously! 🙂
- 3 years ago@XxColdFangxX Sure, the way I see it being played with randoms though is "everyone for themselves". People are incredibly selfish, and to me that's ok if it makes them happy, but it kind of forces you to play in a way that best benefits you as well. It feels a lot like a solo game but with people who can res you when you mess up, and I agree that's not really the intended way to play it.
- Lord_Scorpion343 years agoLegend@XxColdFangxX Like others have said there's not really a right or wrong way per se but I believe it is important to find people with similar play styles when playing solo or it can be a very frustrating experience. Some play to win, some ply for kills. Some are more aggressive while others more reserved. You have to find people w/ similar styles or learn how to compromise or else your gaming experience is soured.

I'm not exactly sure which one of my comments your posting from, but I've already stated that before that there isn't a right or wrong way to play.
As for finding people of similar play style..play style is far different from experience.
The gaming experience is soured wether I find someone with similar style or not because the lobbies are filled with people I can not compete with. That's not something play style can fix.
Maybe if I spent more time than I do now on the game, I'd learn more, gain more experience, but until apex get some of its major issues under better control, I'm not interested in that aggravation.
And I don't know about you, but I don't consider smurfing to be a play style.- Lord_Scorpion343 years agoLegend
@XxColdFangxXI'm late to the party so I didn't wade through the whole thread yet 😂! I was just giving my take on the original post. I rarely look at who kills me so I don't know how many smurfs or higher skilled players are in my lobbies.
