How do you unlock 3 player mode?

@AkumaSanjiI'm not sure I understand what you are asking. You are always matched with a 3 player team, regardless of if you have 1 person in your group already. Occasionally if there are not enough players in queue for the match, you could end up with a 2 man team, but that doesn't happen very often.

Ahhh i'm familiar with this issue.

So basically if there isn't enough kamikaze mouth breathers left in the matchmaking queue  to sabotage your match, the matchmaking system works around it by just not giving you a team mate at all.

People thought RNG was the biggest troll in apex....turns out it's the matchmaking system. 😉

but seriously...it is not 1outta10 you go down as 2, it really is like 33-50%, especially if you include the people that rage quit asap after they downed and the ones dropping alone far away for selfish reasons
