How is jumpmaster selected?

I have picked third and had the jumpmaster symbol and still didn't get it. Numerous times. How is it selected? Has it changed?

@aisthebestletter Since last update it’s random. They messed that up in the new update. Doesn’t matter if you picked last or if nobody picked, the JM is now random...

Yea... even such things they can mess up.

@Koochi-QHeh the jump master if with randoms is 100% randomized pick. If you are partied with someone well 2 other people of a full squad the party leader them self are auto defined jump master.
This person will be jump master every single game unless we reform a party and someone else is party leader.

@aisthebestletter It depends on the system's mood. Most of the time it's the 3rd pick and if the 3rd pick is afk then it would be random but when the system is feeling a bit feisty it'll randomize the JM regardless of whether the 3rd pick is afk or not.
