^^^ pretty sure respawn came about because they wanted to make the game(s) how they wanted to not how they were told to. Would you tell an artist to change his painting because it didn't suit you?
So yes the purpose of the game is to provide entertainment. But just because some players want it changed does not mean that they will or even should change it.

Great points. I would just add don't be so quick to res someone especially if someone is shooting at you. Try to lobby the squad first or make sure in good cover with time for them to heal. before ressing.
But I agree looting before ressing a teamate is rude.
